Everything about this place was great, from the family/living room for evening movie watching; the kitchen for cooking; kitchen table for card/board games; the two large first floor bedrooms; the most comfortable twin beds in the quiet upstairs; and the patio/yard! Highly recommend this!

Overall, the house provided what we needed: a place to rest after long days exploring the parks, but it does not provide what is advertised on the listing.
The location and proximity to our activities was ideal for our family and the sleeping arrangements worked well.
The listing of a fully stocked kitchen isn't accurate. The space is advertised to sleep six, but the kitchen did not provide items for six people. There was only ONE spoon in the entire house, there was not a skillet to cook with, one pot was rusted and had charred food on the inside.
The upstairs bathroom is quite quirky and unusable if you are over 10 years old or taller than 4 foot so don't expect a two bath house for adult usage.

House wasn't bad. It wasn't great either. Just little things that needed kept up or replaced to take it to good. Upstairs was fun, kids loved the space.

The showet upstairs is not working. All of us used one restroom to take shower but other than that, the place is a great place to stay.

House was comfortable and clean, centrally located to groceries, restaurants and highway to Caverns. Bathroom upstairs was fitting for 2 year old. Yard was big but no furniture.

Three adults stayed for 4 nights as base camp for hiking trips to Guadalupe Mountains and Carlsbad Caverns National Parks. Worked well for 3 adults as each had a bedroom although upstairs would be better for kids. Sharing a bathroom downstairs was no problem. Kitchen supplies were adequate although paper towels would have been more convenient. Very clean and ample towels. Living room very comfortable. WiFi worked well. Access was very convenient for daily trips. Recommended if this would meet your party's needs.

Our children age 4-10 fell in love with the child size upstairs area! There are 7 of us and the children were happy to play while the adults were downstairs.

This place was very convenient and close to everything in town. Our family of 5 enjoyed the large backyard and there was plenty of room for us to enjoy our stay.

Couldn't ask for a better location in relation to Carlsbad NP and Guadalupe Mountains NP. After long days of hiking and exploring, we slept very well!

The house was clean and comfortable. Pots, pans and sharp knives in the kitchen are dubious. Internet posed a problem. All in all I would stay in this home again.

The house was fine for a few days with our kids while we visited the National Parks. It is located off of a main street so it’s not especially quiet. The coffee pot brews slower than I’ve ever experienced, and the cookware isn’t in great condition, so I recommend bringing some of your own kitchen items. The beds are comfortable but the couches are not. The house had a Christmas tree up which was a nice touch for the holidays. Overall, it worked well for the price and for the amount of time we spent at the house.

We loved the house everything was comfortable and very clean we enjoyed our stayed very much. Kids loved playing with some toys and read books. Would definitely recommend for a family.
