I really enjoy staying at Rixos hotels, so I have a good basis for comparison. This one in Shymkent is among the most beautifully decorated, in the best sense of the word. What truly stands out, however, is the breakfast—especially the bakery section. Everything is homemade and absolutely delicious.

Polite staff, wonderful pool, great spa, spacious gym, delicious breakfasts, cottage cheese pancakes, sausages.
For safety reasons, the balcony doors do not open fully. The snow room and steam room are temporarily closed for maintenance.

Breakfast was really nice, lots of choice. Smiling and very professional staff.
U can hear all weird noises from other rooms and floors. It’s not appropriate when you travel with kids. They should accommodate families on the same floors. The amenities are old.
