Guest House Bumbli

Writing I have been travelling for over 15 years, and I have never experienced hospitality of such a high standard. Gjergji and his wife were incredibly warm, welcoming, and accommodating. The rooms were spotless, and everything you could possibly need was thoughtfully provided. I honestly could not be happier with my stay. I would not hesitate for a moment to stay here again next year. Highly recommended!

Vertrouw niet op Google Maps om de locatie te bereiken. We zagen te laat dat we beter bij de winkel van de Giorgio hadden kunnen afspreken.

Really friendly and welcoming hosts. Great location and beautiful views over Berat. Spacious and practical room, and super clean. I got a welcome drink, grapes from their garden and other local fruits, and an Albanian desert before I left — very sweet gestures. They don't speak much English but are comfortable with translation apps. Overall great value and excellent hospitality throughout.

The only thing that made me sad and didn't align with the overall hospitality and generosity was seeing two dogs caged 24 hours a day, receiving seemingly no warmth and attention. They seemed very agitated and unhappy all the time, barking at every guest and "leaf" that passed by. There are also a couple of caged pigeons for whatever reason. I can only echo what another guest noticed and wrote about this one year ago already (in Sep 2025): "I wish that the owners extended the same kindness for me towards their pets."

Très bel accueil de nos hôtes. On s’est senties comme à la maison avec la belle terrasse et vue sur la belle partie de la ville. On a même pu goûter aux produits cultivés par nos hôtes: raisins et kakis et à la grappa!
