Kavos Hotel Naxos

We loved our stay at this hotel. The staff was fabulous and made us all feel very special. The food is delicious. In fact we had booked several other restaurants for dinner, but ended up canceling them as we preferred to eat at the hotel. In addition, the staff gave us so much help about places to go and things to do. We were very appreciative.

I thought the hotel and staff were wonderful. My only disappointment was our room location. It was up a number of steps and that was hard for me. However, it was not the hotel's fault. I chose the room and didn't see in the description that it indicated that it was up a number of steps.. The hotel was fully booked or the wonderful concierge would have moved us and said that if anyone canceled that they would move us into that room at no extra charge. Next time I will be more careful in reading the description.

The property itself was beautiful- Sea views from the restaurant and poolside. Loukas, the manager was great- so friendly and helpful; good sense of humor! We looked forward to our breakfast at poolside each morning- lots of options to choose from! Restaurant was our best meal in all of Greece! We really liked our waitress there too.

Unit was clean, and cleaned thoroughly daily, but appeared a little "tired"- very basic unit, although towels and bathroom amenities were nice. No ice, a single small ice cube tray to serve 4 people. No dish soap, so the cleaning staff also washed our dishes

We had a great experience overall!

The pool & grounds are beautifully kept and the view are stunning. The 2 bed villa was lovely, fabulous views and great outdoor seating area and balcony

Very disappointing limitations on breakfast options that were not detailed at any point despite paying luxury hotel prices, so eg. my daughter was not able to have pancakes & a fruit salad plus a drink and I couldn’t have 2 coffees without a big supplement and also breakfast didn’t start till 8.15 but actually it was 45 mins later before the coffee machine was up & running so no good if you like an early breakfast or are taking an excursion snd no te/coffee in room. Also pool hours strict 8.15-6.30 so again not possible to return from a day out and swim. Also this hotel is 20-25 minutes walk to the beach/supermarket (not 10 minutes as in description)
