Another two weeks spent in this lovely cottage, so handy for the local supermarket and a short walk to the centre of Keswick. Despite being close to the town it is a very quiet spot and a parking space is a bonus. The weather wasn’t brilliant for us and quite cold at times but the cottage was lovely and warm. Already booked for another stay next year.

Stayed at Elm Cottage a number of times as great location so don’t need to go out in the car as everything on the doorstep and you have a designated parking space. Only comment I would make is there are a number of excellent places to purchase food including the market but would like a bread knife that actually cut bread, and if that is sorted for our next stay next month that would be appreciated. The fact we have already booked again confirms a great place.

The cottage is in a brilliant location. On arrival we entered the cottage the sofas are very tired and dirty as it was late l gave them a clean but they where uncomfortable and could do with replacing . The bathroom the toilet is very high and have someone in our party that is only 5 ft found it very uncomfortable to use. The bath need replace as the coating on it is broken and it looks very dirty . For the premium price we payed we did not feel this time it was worth the money
