It is so cosy, near enough to York to go through the day. We have stayed here twice now and already can’t wait to return! Always super clean, hot tub is lovely. Thank you again for a wonderful stay.

Nothing love it

Location, views, property, all stunning. The bath robes were a really nice touch, we will definitely be returning.

We loved the little lodge and how clean and tidy it was. The view was outstanding and just how lovely and cosy it was. The people who owned it were lovely and welcoming. We absolutely loved our little stay here we will definitely be coming back to stay again.

location, view and hot tub were marvellous

on arrival there was no one to check us in. No code for the gate, no one to direct us. I tried ringing the property put the phone number on booking.com was off. I also requested for a romantic gesture to be done. This was a waste of time as no effort was made. Towels had dirty marks on. When we finally got into the property we were told an additional charge was added to the total due to having a dog, even though the website states there are no additional charge. The woman running it messaged to apologise for ‘teething problems’ but even still this was not our problem and i strongly believe i shouldnt of had to pay extra. Especially with the poor service and welcome we received. The price we paid for the two nights was expensive enough without having to pay and additional £50 on top. Overall probably wont return and will not recommend due to lack of care to the finer details.
