Our room was not cleaned when we got there at 6pm and they upgraded us and the newly renovated was beautiful. The bed was very comfortable.

We stayed at this property for one night. While we did expect it to be on the noisier side (family’s in the pool) I did not think the walls would be as thin as they are. The property was close to restaurants. The pool floors were not the cleanest, and it was hard to find towels, but my daughter enjoyed her time with the other kids in the pool. I found mold growing in the grout lines in the shower. The icing on the cake though was the plougher that decided to start clearing the very back parking lot of the hotel at 5:30 in the morning.

Property is dated; rented out to ext workers who were noisy( told if I wanted a quieter room out front it would be $15.00 extra a night. No good amenities on-site. Could not get the free continental breakfast as we booked through Expedia … they wanted an additional 7.00 per person per day!! Toilet ran day and night. Caulking is bathroom is mouldy with black. When providing the above at check out, both staff members were ambivalent about hearing my complaints. Will NEVER stay again.

Room smelled like stale smoke even though it was supposed to be non-smoking. Pool and hot tub closes at 9:30 pm. Tv was just free channels, no movie options. A couple of guys were barbecuing on the tailgate of their truck just outside the front door.

Managers need to walk around the property OUTSIDE!
We found drug pipe and materials on the back wall by parking stalls. Thank god my grandson didn't touch it!!

Decent hotel. I thought having to pay for a breakfast a little ridiculous. And when I went in there were no waffles. So didn't get it after that.

The staff was excellent. Our room was clean and we enjoyed our stay. We liked the central indoor pool and hot tub, but were glad to have a room that did not face the central pool area.
Hotel was conveniently located for walking to Tailout Brewing for a beer, The Grand Buddha Bistro for dinner, and The Bombi Restaurant for breakfast.

This property was fine...the rooms were very aged. The staff was helpful but there needed to be more of them. I would stay here again but only at a rate that justified what you were getting. There was abundant parking which was nice.

Hotel is clean but dated. Inner rooms have no ventilation - A/C fan fills the room with chlorine air from the atrium pool. Definitely would recommend outer rooms with fresh-air windows.

An average place if that is what you are looking for. The sinks are so rusty and the doors sometimes refuse to lock even with the key. The newer staff that checked me in were quite friendly but one of the older staff actually mentioned she had worked there for 25 years and was snapping at me when I asked a question.
I definitely will not be going there again. I just hope their other outlets elsewhere aren't like this.

Overall it was a decent place to stay. Because I was there by myself, I didn’t really feel safe. There were guys partying in the parking lot from the tailgate of their truck. They didn’t talk to me or approach me but still unnerved me a little. And then I had a sugar low at 11 pm and it was kind of scary in the hallways at that hour. Could just be because I was alone. The room was clean and they are within walking distance of amenities.Location was decent.

We visited Castlegar during the fire evacuations happening in Kelowna. Check in was busy but did well to handle the extra business while under a serge of bookings.

Stayed for 5 nights in Aug 2023. Staff is excellent, bed was super comfortable and room had everything we needed for our stay. Located on main drag and easy access to stores and restaurants. Very affordable. We would stay there again.

Easy access, rooms ok. Beds are a little small and air conditioning not that great. Quiet tho. Lots of workers staying there that hang out and drink and smoke in parking lot.

I flew into BC from Ontario, and have never been to the area before. My flight was getting in at 10 and being I had no where to go, I emailed the hotel and requested if possible an early check in before 4 pm. I arrived at the hotel and was immediately checked in which was lovely and very much appreciated. Front desk staff was extremely friendly! The room was nice and clean, as were the rest of the communal areas. The indoor pool was extremely hot inside, and looked a bit dated. The continental breakfast was nice to have in hotel, but it does cost $7 and that’s included in the price of your room. Other than that, it was a great place to stay for one night on my travels!

It's a great place to stay. Lots of restaurants nearby. And it has an indoor pool and hot tub for a nice way to relax after a long drive.

Lots of concrete and idling diesel trucks. There is a nice park at the rec center about 5 minute walk away though.
