Proximity to campus was an A+, but everything else was a C. Our room was dusty, (loud) next to the elevator bank, with a broken mattress and a shower that barely worked. Plus there appeared to be students living on our floor as a dorm?

Housekeeping knocked on door before 7am morning to ask if I was leaving soon to check out so she could start in the room. Multiple housekeepers speaking loudly outside of room early in morning. Unable to rest. Construction in hallway outside room.

This hotel could not be in a better location to visit Syracuse University; it is on campus. Our room was large and comfortable, and breakfast at Rachel's was convenient and the food was good. We heard that this hotel will be turned into a dorm for students at the end of this (spring) semester, which is unfortunate. It was the perfect location and just right for our campus visit.

The location is very convenient to campus and the staff is helpful and friendly. The hotel could use some upgrades. The heat did not work in our room which was uncomfortable. They did offer to switch rooms but we arrived late and determined it was too much trouble as we were already settled in. The location is terrific for campus.

I stayed at this hotel because of Louisville vs. Syracuse game. This is a very nice hotel, but I was informed that this hotel will turn into student dormitory. Thanks for the excellent service.

Nice and convenient. Was a little surprised the meal I had at Sitrus ( steak), the hotel evening restaurant , was very good.

We were next to a room of student partiers, and the hotel does not have a "noise fee" in place to prevent them from screaming until 4am. We were traveling with our 3 year old. We will never stay at this hotel again, regardless of how convenient it was to the conference. Too many undergrads and no policies to protect travelers.

Upon arrival to room, there was dirty towels & Sheets piled high right next to our door. The room smelled like there was a pet in at one time, even though they said 7th floor was not a pet friendly floor, my wife's allergies started immediately upon entering room. Bar staff had zero people skills, and without our group would of had 4 people spending money instead of 80. Very nasty & unpleasant. Security person was the most friendly person on staff at hotel as well as valet guys. Also, in order to change rooms due to smell & allergy to pets, they had to down grade my room

I am a Syracuse alum. When visiting campus it is very convenient to stay at the Sheraton since its in a prime location. I am disappointed to hear it is closing in May to become a dorm. I hope the University does right by the hotel staff who are amazing. I will miss the Sheraton.

A somewhat dated property but it was extremely close to the university so we paid no attention. It sounds like the hotel will be shutting down in the spring and is being converted to dorms. Parking was simple and easy to get to.

The Sheraton Convention Center Syracuse is in desperate need of a refresh of the facility. It is old, but worse of all, it is not kept clean. Carpets in the hall are stained, and there is trash left in the room behind the build in units. The location is great and the staff is attentive and helpful. But nothing can disguise the wear and tear on the physical plant, or the lack of cleaning.

Check in was unfriendly Front staff was complaining about a coworker. No information regarding amenities or check out. Heating/a/c was a nightmare Controlled from engineering either freezing or nothing. Had to pay extra for daily parking with no shuttle even though was offered on site. Not overall impressed for the price.

Being a Syracuse University parent I have few options when choosing a hotel close to campus. This is the “best of the worst” so to speak. But all-in-all my stay has always been nice. The staff is wonderful and the rooms are clean. You can’t beat the location!! Go Cuse!

The room we were given hadn’t been cleaned. They moved us to a new room and that room had mold in the bathroom and dirt in the corners. I’ve never had such an awful experience at a hotel. How in the world is this a 4 star hotel? We left and found another place to stay. Huge inconvenience, really upsetting.

The Sheraton is ideal for its proximity to the Syracuse campus. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was fine - reasonably clean and like what you’d expect in a hotel room. I think I expected more because it was a Sheraton, but in general we were very comfortable and glad we stayed there.

I liked the property and most likely stay there again. The only negative was that there was black mold in the grout on the wall of the shower/tub. It was not a small amount. Otherwise it was fine.

I have stayed at this hotel many times. The rooms need a refresh especially the bathrooms and showers. The housekeeping staff were extremely loud early in the morning dropping things and talking.
