Booked a 2 queen bed and sofa bed, for 5 people. When i arrived they were “overbooked” and “upgraded” me to a suite with 1 king size bed and sofa.. so people need to sleep on the floor now, when i complained, they didnt care at all to accommodate other then that we got a upgrade (we didnt ask for or needed) and said we can have a rollaway bed or she will cancel (threatening) the reservation and we can go somewhere else. How sad is this. They couldnt even accommodate to at least give free parking (thats part of the building anyway, they just decide to charge for it). Other issues were, the AC didnt work at all, it was constantly 75+ in the room and couldnt go lower, so we were hot.

I’ve stayed at a fair number of hotels but the staff here were well above par. Every single interaction from the ladies at the breakfast buffet to the hotel manager was an absolute pleasure.
There is some remodeling happening, but the lobby and second floor were great and the floor we stayed on had just been fully renovated so it was all fresh and shiny.
I would definitely stay here again.

The room and towels had an unpleasant smell. A couple of towels were stained. After room service, a couple of used towels were left in the bathroom.

If you're looking for a hotel room that feels like home, look no further! Residence Inn by Marriott lives up to its name. A spacious room with comfortable beds, and a full kitchen, not just a kitchenette with a microwave oven and some plates and silverware. (My only quibble: no electric kettle, just a small tea/coffeemaker. Putting kettles in the rooms would definitely be an improvement.) Excellent location and the CVS next door is very convenient. Lastly, the service was incredibly friendly and efficient. The staff was totally understanding when I had to check out late for work reasons (I asked to push the checkout from noon to 1 but ended up leaving at 1:30 or so; I even offered to pay for the late checkout but they wouldn't hear of it). Definitely want to stay here again!

The room was small but what was disturbing was the pull out sofa bed was stained and disgusting. When I called the front desk and told them they sent up a blanket to cover it. This was unacceptable and I requested a room change to get an acceptable bed for my kids. I would not recommend staying here. Also there was an issue with the water.

Noisy fridge in room. Totally unusable wi-fi. When i needed to do some banking for the flight home, staff were unable/unwilling to allow use of hotel computer. Totally uncooperative!

The hotel everyday mention in the morning, we apologize for the inconvenience but you will not have water at all in the bedrooms for 7 hrs . That´s really unexpected

Hotel was going through renovations and we were not aware till right before our visit. Room was worn and missing extra linen. Breakfast was good but lines were overwhelming. They did a great job just couldn’t keep up. No seating so decided to eat elsewhere.

I want to say front desk staff was amazing this review is not for them or the room cleaners. This review is based on the parking fee and reconstruction we could not shower no water came out due to a leak and no one told us. my toilet ran all night long the bed is right at the door did not make me feel safe nor was there enough space. the breakfast was not good at all watered down orange juice it almost felt like we were eating at a nursing facility. the parking fee is 54.00 a night! And if you can’t do that you have to pay by parking meter and move your car at 7 am ! This is not acceptable

The service and hospitality was super nice. The desk staff had great smiles and personality. The first day had water issues due to renovation but they were very up front about the issue and wanted do what they could to make it ok until water was back on. And the room is SUPER SPACIOUS, my fellow traveler has food related allergies and we were able to make a decent steak dinner in the big pot and rice in the microwave. This was exactly what we needed.

The room was a bit dated. Decoration, appliances and old carpets. The beds were a little to high so my daughter had to climb to get some rest. Nevertheless all was very clean and tidy. They came every day to clean the room.
Breakfast was ok, nice variety of things. A bit crowded some times but the service was fast and they worked in stealth mode.
Great location and only a couple blocks away from the metro if you come from Dulles on the gray line

The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The room was clean. However, there was a problem with the water. It was shut off when I arrive at 10pm and the following morning the water was not hot.

Great property, great stay! Recommend to all looking to be close to the National Mall, it was within a mile or two walking distance. if you have a rental make sure you check clearance since parking is in a garage.

Configuration of the room was not so comfortable with the bed being so close to the door. The door almost hits the bed when opened

Shoutout to my guy Rickey they need to give him a raise. He made the entire stay amazing for me and my parents. My only feedback is the rooms do need to be cleaned better and wish there was more lounge space. Also one valet for an entire hotel is ridiculous especially if they’re gonna charge so much for parking.

I picked the hotel for the breakfast and the in-unit kitchen. Breakfast was fine, no complaints. The in-unit kitchen was pretty bad. The fridge did not keep items cool no matter the temp setting, and the only cookware I was given was a single large pot. When I akssked, I got a terrible pan also. . Was especially an issue because I caught covid and so was stuck inside cooking and using the fridge for 5 days.
When I tried to check out the day before since I had an early airport departure, I was told I couldn't but it would be super easy. Sure enougg, there were problems and the 5 am desk person didnt know how to fix them. The delay made me miss my uber.
The hotel in general seems reasonably well run, but these were some serious downsides to my experience.
