The staff at the Springhill Suites in Gaithersburg made it a five star stay. We were contacted ahead of time about our plans for our stay and to see if there was anything the staff could do to make our stay more enjoyable. When we checked in, I was greeted by name and assigned a room on an upper floor, which I had requested. The room was large with a small kitchenette, a desk, couch, and a separate sleeping area. While the furniture was a bit old, it was quite comfortable.

I took my nephew to DC to see all there is to see. We stay in Gaithersburg and took the metro everywhere. The Hotel was great, clean, quiet and near everything. We had a blast! thank you

Clean, spacious, and comfortable room! I particularly enjoyed having the small sink/fridge/microwave space, though I wish the fridge had a small freezer section. The TV was mounted on an arm that enabled me to watch from the couch, or the bed, which I thought was a nice touch. I didn’t care for the pillows on the bed though, they were not good for side sleeping.

Excellent stay!! The check in was smooth and guick, the room was very nice. If I have one complaint it would be limited tv selections, mucsic or movies.

Rooms are very small. Breakfast is always the same with very few options. Only scrambled eggs and bacon every day. No pancakes.

Poor Lot Plowing/ Salting. It was an adventure parking and walking in the parking lot. A lot of spots could not be utilized for parking due to snow. This was after 3 days since it had last snowed. Very poor.

Allison at the front desk was amazing! She greeted us and made us feel so welcomed. The hotel was in a great area and there’s so much to do. Yet it’s very quiet and peaceful at the hotel.

But if you want your room made everyday you have to ask for it. Other then that the hotel stay was on par with higher priced hotels.

When it’s a Springhill Suites suite. Just a half wall separates the couch from the bed. So if one person wants to watch TV and the other wants to sleep, someone is SOL.
What is sweet? The bed. Maybe the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. It toally made up for the suite not being a suite.
Everything else — bathroom, breakfast, amenities are about what you’d expect. Housekeeping, though, is by appointment. Ask when you check in.

The front desk staff is not friendly. I had to wait for 10 minutes with no one in sight. When a staff member finally showed up, she was defensive. Before I could say anything, she said I was not the only customer she had to attend to. I found that rude. In addition, the hotel is located right next to the expressway, so the noise of trucks passing by could be hard all night long. I will not stay in this hotel again

I thought this was a really good property. The staff was extremely friendly. My room was spacious, I liked that I could have a friend visit without them sitting on my bed

Property did not have pool as was described. Smelled bad. Too many people, couldnt get any breakfast. Elevators broken and had to go to top floor.

Very surprised room would only be cleaned on 3rd day of staying there. Room was nice but insufficient number of towels. Breakfast was ok but loaded with carbs and sugar.
