The staff was extremely nice and efficient. This hotel needs lots of assistance getting up to date and clean. Owners needs to do a review of housekeeping and cleanliness standards.

The hotel does not look like the photo. Breakfast was very limited and restaurant not in full service.

This property is currently under renovation, or the score would be higher. I had a very comfortable and quiet stay. The bed and coverings were very nice and the pillows were great. Breakfast was good with a nice variety. Also a restaurant connected that had the best bacon. A beautiful courtyard complete with gazebos, fire pits and bbq grills. I would definately stay again. Excellent value.

It was nice, warm and comfy but I really wanted to use the pool and it was closed for the season. It’s indoor and should be available all the time especially since it’s on the outside sign that there is a pool.

Room was clean. However, there was only 1 plastic cup in the room to drink out of. A coffee pot, but no cups to make coffee in! Disappointing that the spa and pool were both closed.

Front desk person did not know his job, tv did not work so we requested another room and were allowed to move. Cafe attached to the hotel served us very old hoagie bread with our sandwich. Breakfast was cold, the bananas were black and the hot water for tea was not hot even after he refilled it.

The pool was closed. The spa was closed. It smelled like sewer and Lysol. There was a note on couch bed that said we’d be charged $100 if we used it. The waffles mix was sour.

Comfy beds but pillows not the best. Staff was amazing and very nice. Hotel could use a make over but one of the better choices to stay at. Would rebook.

I truly like this property. the staff is always friendly and accommodating. the property is kept clean and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Unfortunately things are getting a bit run down - wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling, the furniture looking pretty worn and the linens are showing extreme wear. While i was there, they were replacing all of the flooring so i take that as a sign that the owners are working on updating.

This was our first time visiting Hot Springs, South Dakota. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. The facilities are a little dated, but the hotel is very clean. The breakfast was hot and delicious. We hope to visit the area again.

Excellent staff! A little disappointed that the microwave in the room did not work and there were no cups for the coffee maker. And only one coffee pod for my two day stay.
Breakfast was very good with an excellent fellow attending and making sure all needs were met.

Front lobby very clean. Friendly service. The room was clean with comfortable beds and pillows. The shower was great with plenty of hot water. Had an excellent sleep! There’s a full breakfast that had more than i expected. Overall a great stay!

The people working there were great! The property was only partially open, poorly maintained and dirty. Carpets made my socks black. Unfortunately I can't recommend it.

This place is an absolute dump. The fitness center was “under construction”, the pool was closed, there is no hot tub (even though it’s advertised that there is one), the breakfast is disgusting and none of the staff seems to know what is going on in any capacity. The sheets in our room had blood stains on them (which were promptly replaced) and the majority of the hotel was in complete disrepair. I rarely give bad reviews but this place is truly awful and I would never stay here again.

The hotel is great for the price in this area. Check out the Mammoth site near by and don't be afraid to eat at the bowling alley, great food.

Nice hotel; had breakfast ready at 4am knowing that guests would need to leave very early to attend the Buffalo Roundup. Above and beyond expectations.

Terrible hotel. Place is rundown. Smelly. Staff is not professional. The room had a moldy smell. Not enough lighting and power outlets. It was very noisy. You could hear your neighbour snoring. There was no shower curtain. There were long hairs (not mine) in the bath. The towels were thin and ruffled. The floor tiles were loose. The breakfast was bad. No milk for cereals. The eggs were fine, but de patties were cooking (probably for a very long time) in something unidentified. There was no cleaning or refilling during breakfasttime. The very worst place I ever been to. Don't ever go there.

The front desk was very nice. However, it took us a while to get into our room as the door handle was definitely broken so we had to move it just right. There was a lot of dust in our room and the toilet wasn't cleaned. The bed had lots of pillows but they were all very lumpy. The bed sank really bad when you sat on it. We just needed a place for the night to sleep so we could hit the road in the morning.

Would not stay here again hotel is very poor condition. The hotel is very dirty from the rooms to the lobby. All the exterior parking lights are broken or burnt out.. I was extremely disappointed considering it had a 8.8 rating.

We had a problem with the initial room that was assigned to us, but the front desk woman took immediate action and gave us a new room. I was very impressed with her professionalism. The new room was very clean and had a large bathroom counter. I really liked the separate water faucet near the coffee maker. I recommend this hotel.
