I booked a hotel room last minute for a quick getaway. I had to cancel within an hour of booking due to a family health emergency. I did not (but definitely should have) purchase the cancellation fee. I tried to work with the hotel to get some remedy of a refund but was unsuccessful. I was out over $300 with no resolution. I understand it was my fault for not purchasing the cancellation fee but i hoped due to the length of time between booking and cancelling, there might have been some wiggle room in policy. Apparently not. Will not book here again.

Location is fine; across the street there is a plaza where there is a theatre, A&W, the Mandarin. Also, there is gas station and Wendy's.

Clean, spacious room, easy booking/checkin/checkout, good breakfast, comfortable beds.

Had a bad experience with a staff member when trying to get an early check-in. She was very rude and not very accommodating.

Found the facility to be tired. Stayed there 5 years ago and it was spotless and beautiful. The room we stayed in had stained carpets and the main entrance carpets were all stained and unsightly. The facility could use some updating like removing carpets in living room and main entrance and replacing with hard surface material that doesn't show stains, etc.

We were there 6 days. Asked on 5th day for room service and it did not happen. The tub floor was dirty and needed some comet to clean. The breakfast was great for three days and then no bacon. Ugh!! Still good but bacon was good. Staff was friendly.

It’s difficult to give a low rating — because our experience could have happened at a lot of, though not all, hotels. The main issue was a drunken set of wedding guests roaming the hallway across from our room from 2:30am to 4:00am. We reported this to the front desk but they weren’t able to address the issue. It seems like they did call the wedding guests because after we reported it, we heard the wedding guests loudly in the hall saying, “Shhh! We have to be quiet.” So we ended up really tired the next morning when we had the longest portion of the drive. And we found out that the wedding guests had also been a bit disrespectful BEFORE heading to the wedding. The hotel knew about all this but was unable to remedy it. There didn’t seem to be policies in place to deal with this type of situation, especially across shifts. We didn’t hear any follow up from the hotel about the situation either. Considering the cost of the stay, and how poor the overall stay was, it was disappointing.

great pool, accommodating and friendly staff, clean, lots of parking, great breakfast. Only issue, not their fault, no "real" restaurants to eat at close by, a few fast food options, Turtle Jacks was a 2 min walk, but they closed at 8pm on a Friday..... And that was the only option.

Front desk staff were extremely pleasant.

We stayed for two nights while visiting family on the holiday weekend. Beds were comfy and the room was clean. We had an issue with the remote for the television but someone came up right away to sort it out. Shower head in the bathroom was not working properly but was repaired while we were out. This hotel is not near downtown and there aren’t a lot of restaurants etc but was it suitable for us as we were spending time with family for meals and entertainment. Overall a good experience.

We enjoyed our one night stay so much we returned the next night. Breakfast had so many choices and the bacon was cooked to perfection. Waffles had batter options, yum. The staff are what made our visit. So friendly, helpful, and very engaged. Pride in their work came across in every interaction.

Only stayed for one evening. It was my home town. It was convenient. Spent more time at the arena's than at the Hotel. The 2 young ladies I dealt with were simply amazing. The man I spoke with the other day was very blunt and round. This was discussed with the young lady that I spoke to and she was going to file a "Personal & Confidential" report with my disappointment on his blunt and rude attitude. Thank you.

Since my first stay (pre-covid) the quality has gone down. Front desk staff were friendly. The breakfast room chairs and seating are very dirty and stained. The quality of breakfast foods has deteriorated. Depending on which coffee carafe you used, one would be cold! The rooms are not serviced or garbage taken out unless you ask for it to be done. The bathroom (especially the shower) was in need of repair or replacement. The place looks quite scruffy.

Stayed one night, kids loved the pool and we had a great time. Close to everything we had planned to do. Great time!
