Put in the newly remodeled section room 231. The walls vibrated all day and night with the air conditioning condenser. I actually thought we were next to laundry with the noise and constant vibrating wall. This room was tiny, half shower, poor lighting, no garage bags, pillows sucked, no nightstand on one side of bed. One chair. Room service is advertised in room and online and was reserved and paid for and nothing was received. Guest service didn’t know room service was no longer offered by new onsite restaurant. Given a voucher make up for it. Really defeats the ROOM SERVICE advertising. By the time it got figured out, breakfast was done and that was the only voucher provided. No complimentary coffee or water in the lobby. In room coffee is terrible. Highway robbery for a 2 night crappy stay.

The room, view, and cleanliness was great overall, but the AC unit made noise, which kept me up until i turn it off. I called the front desk and made a complaint. Hopefully this small issue get taken care of because I really enjoyed my view.

Arriving at this property there was no dining area available. There was no mention of construction prior to reservation. Was woken up at 830 am with the entire room shaking when I called down to the desk to ask for a working iron board I told the front desk clerk about the noise and she told me that there was work on the third floor, I was on the 5th and felt like it was in my room. She did apologize, but it was totally unacceptable. I want to be compensated for this. I traveled from Boston to Cleveland to Erie for a wedding. I was only there for 1 night and it was not to my expectations. I would have stayed at a different hotel had I known.

Renovations were in progress. The hotel restaurant and bar were closed. The room was okay, the windows and heating unit were dirty. Charged an extra $15 to use their parking garage with no other parking available. The shower floor looked dirty as if wasn’t cleaned or rinsed well. Definitely overpriced for the condition and lack of in house amenities as advertised (bar and restaurant) that were closed. The extra expense of the unattached parking garage is just greedy and unnecessary. The view would have been nice if the windows were clean.

The room was excellent, but our check in process was not great. I had booked a double queen room and upon arrival, they sent us to a king room. When I returned to the front desk, they said they didn’t have a double queen room and could get use a roll away bed for the king room. I explained that this was unacceptable. We had just driven 3.5 hours, it was late, and we had to get up early for my child’s athletic competition. They then magically found a double queen room. I am not sure how you can book a room, but they don’t actually hold the room. I am thankful they rectified the situation, but it shouldn’t take a rise in my blood pressure to do so.

This is our second time staying at this hotel. Lake view is beautiful, property is renovated, comfy bed, beautiful shower. Staff is very nice and attentive. Stephanie thank you!
The only negative for me was the loud noice coming from the bathroom vent, it woke me up couple of times during the night.
Otherwise it was a great stay!

No lobby no bar no restuarant. Why Am I paying a premium rate. I don’t care about the nasty pool or small gym.

The Sheraton’s currently undergoing refurbishment and the restaurant’s closed, but we were given a room upgrade to lake view and free parking. Newly refurbished room was fabulous! We walked via the sky bridge (all indoors) to the Marriott next door for supper. Apart from the inconvenience of no restaurant we had a great stay.

This was my third stay at this property. The staff is always lovely and the rooms are comfortable and super clean. Two small complaints—the lampshade on the desk was missing a part so the lampshade was crooked and unsteady. It would be so simple to fix and made the room feel a little shoddy. Second, we ordered room service—the food was excellent but came in plastic to-go containers. It would have been much more pleasant to eat on real plates with silverware rather than plastic utensils. Plus my flatbread pizza was stacked in the container so it got mushy by the time I was done eating it. There was a big banquet going on at the same time that we ordered room service so maybe they ran out of place settings. All of that said the staff here is always so friendly and helpful and I enjoy staying here. Solid 4.5 stars rounded down because of those two small issues.

Overall, a very nice hotel. Checkin was efficient and front desk was very friendly and courteous. Room was clean. Room service was quick and food was delivered fresh/hot. View of marina was lovely as was the sunrise each morning.

At the time of booking, there was no mention of construction from 8a-5p DIRECTLY ABOVE MY ROOM (I went upstairs to see what was going on.) Carpet installation and mudding drywall are not exactly quiet activities.
The room was not as clean as I expected for the price and Sheraton name. Black stains on the bedskirt. Back of the bathroom door dusty. Not-so-fresh smell in the room.
The front desk staff were excellent. Parking was easy and plentiful. Room was spacious for 1 person. Nice view of the lake.

Toilet in my room leaked all over the bathroom floor. The air conditioning unit was the loudest thing ever. Woke me up often in the night. It was supposedly a newly redone room. Odd that they would choose such a loud intrusive unit.

We will definitely stay here again. Clean - harbor view- restaurant in hotel excellent food and service. We stayed in clubhouse floor and were amazed at the service and amenities. The bed was so comfortable and the room was fabulous. We just loved it here

Marvelous views of the bay from the rooms and the hotel restaurants. A long work desk sits underneath the large picture windows framing the water views on the bay side. This hotel is part of a hotel complex on the bayfront with numerous restaurants and a waterfront walkway. A Skybridge with amazing views connects the hotel to the conference center. Staff is extremely helpful.

Loved the service! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with the 'ins and outs' of getting around Erie and our lovely Hotel! The view from our room was breathtaking and very entertaining! Walking around the hotel and in the parking garage felt safe and was very convenient.

We had a room with two queen beds on the 8th floor and it was clean, spacious and comfortable with a great view of the boats and water. We were traveling with a pod on our SUV, which meant we couldn’t fit in the parking garage but we appreciated that we were immediately accommodated with alternate parking.

We had a great stay at the Bayfront! All staff members were professional and attentive to making sure our stay was excellent. Staying at the Club Level made this a great experience.

The location of this hotel is great, the views were beautiful. The stay started off strong with very quick and friendly check in. Throughout the stay the front desk staff remained wonderful. They were always friendly and responsive. However, the room left much to be desired, the bathroom was one of the dirtiest I have ever encountered in a hotel. The dirt on the moldings, light fixtures, and vents was many inches thick. When I wiped water off the counter the white washcloth turned black. Requests left for extra towels were ignored, however, when I asked at the front desk, towels appeared within minutes.

Dogs were permitted, doggie menu and potty area for them. I was a dog less guest but they did a good job of keeping the doggies good house guests.
