Packwood Lodge

Location can’t be beat for a couple days spent around Rainier. Room was a little musty smelling upon arrival, but did air out decently with the AC on and window open for the afternoon. Also there was no functioning light above the tub / toilet area, admittedly I didn’t notice until after front desk hours and wasn’t able to ask for assistance. Overall was fine for the price paid given the peak season.

Our stay at Packwood Lodge was wonderful. It was a great location very close to Rainier and the cabin itself was clean, had a grill and a hot tub, and was very comfortable. The staff was super helpful and ensured we had a nice stay. Would definitely recommend for someone going to Rainier or looking for a getaway!

Beautiful cabins, very clean cabins. Very helpful staff. Great location with reference to Mt. Ranier. Only catch was the beds were cheap foam tops with literally no support. I am a 6ft 200lb man and I sunk in like I was a black hole. It was actually hilariously bad how bad the foam toppers were. If I was 240 or something I would be better off on the floor. I spoke with the staff and the assured me they originally had better mattresses but received a complaint about mattress dimensions. This forced the company into a “quick” solution. Unfortunately, a quick click on Alibaba was not the right choice. Call ahead and ask if the toppers have been replaced or make sure you weigh very little. Good luck to all. The coffee joint in town with the Goat is amazing and the Cliffhangers burger place was great too. I’ll be back to see Mt. Ranier on a Harley,

Great room to stay en route to early start in Rainier
