Staff were excellent; the property needs updating; the breakfast buffet was chaotic and food options were quite different. I prefer Seda Manila Bay breakfast buffet.

All the staffs are nice and friendly.And the room were clean and smells fresh.

On Dec 2, 2023, I fell and hurt both my knees due to the unsafe mini stage where the Christmas display was placed. It was immediately changed after my accident when they realized that there was a safety concern. The nurse immediately applied first aid treatment and with the pain med that she gave me I was able to attend our HS Golden Jubilee Reunion that day ( reason why I went home for 2 weeks ) With the help of pain med and careful movements, I was able to do some activities but it came to a point where the pain was getting worse. That was when I requested an X Ray. The Seda Hotel doctor , Dr Young Chang, refused and stated that it was normal part of healing , and that it would go away in time. I got upset because in the first place, I had sustained injuries for unsafe reason and to take my pain lightly was just unacceptable. When he saw how upset I was, he stated “ OK, I will pay for your X Ray”. It was hard to believe that Seda Hotel is owned by the Ayalas but looks like it has no good medical plan for guests who have sustained an injury at their facility. Anyway, after some convincing, I was brought to St Luke’s but this is what I can only advise to those Balikbayan who are planning to stay there ; Just be careful of your Safety there. Please give it a careful thought bec no matter how good the service and the staff are, when it comes to rendering costly med procedures, they would think twice about it.

Everything was great from the start easy check in and staff are friendly and helpful. Will definitely be staying again soon.

Seda BGC claimed they had overbooked and moved me to another hotel

Due to inclement weather, we were unable to check-in during our first night as scheduled. Rather than tag us as a no-show, after we contacted Seda, our booking remained secure and we were able to check-in an hour or so after arriving in the Philippines. BGC has always been a great, safe place with many shopping, dining, etc. options so the location where Seda is was perfect for us. It was walking distance to the Market! Market! mall, High Street, St. Lukes BGC, and many more. The staff warmly welcomed us and ensured that we were taken care of. We will definitely stay here again in the future!

Obvious that the property is older. There was a strong old, musty, moldy smell in our floor corridors that persisted through the whole 5 days of our stay. The A/C in room did not work the first night. We had to request for a transfer to another room. The staff were very friendly and helpful, specially the dining staff. Manager Randy and server Ting were very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast buffet was OUTSTANDING. Different choices everyday. Loved the kakanin options. Easy transport access thru GRAB, which the concierge gladly provided for us each day. In summary, other than the aging facilities, the staff were top notch. And that's what counts for me.

My review is based solely on the Club Lounge Room (and lounge itself) experience, as that is why I paid extra for the use of this facility. The hotels location is very well placed on the Bonificio high street. The room itself that In was allocated was on the 15th floor and a normal room which was OK but did not have a working desk, it was a small round sit up dining table. The lounge was poor in my opinion and I felt the hotel was playing at this rather than taking it serious. The food selection was small, hot food choices were cold and poor. The lounge was small and the staff just not quite working at the level for an executive lounge experience. Example here is that I was struggling opening the entrance door with cases and no one assisted from behind the desk, even thought they saw me, also poor service when asking for coffee etc just the worst experience of all the exec lounge experiences in Manila and Asia that I have experienced. If you stay in a non long room, then I guess the hotel will be fine for the price. Main restaurant which I went to once for breakfast, was over crowded, the walk ways by the buffet small and constant moving around people to get out the way and back too your table. So would I stay here again? The answer is simply no.

It is a great hotel. Stay in a suite in tower 1 and access the lounge. The lounge is great. Breakfast is great downstairs also. There are so many things to do within walking distance. The staff are great. The manager is fantastic. I will stay again. This is my 4th time

I had a very comfortable and easy stay at Seda BGC for 5 days. I was in a lounge access room and really enjoyed the lounge facilities, especially the evening cocktails time. The room also came with complimentary use of their boardroom which was helpful for a client meeting I had. The hotel is located in the middle of BGC and about 30-40min car ride from the airport. There are plenty of shops and restaurants around and it is perfectly safe to walk in the neighbourhood, even after dark. One thing to note is that the hotel has a smart casual dress code.

Staff are friendly and accommodating, nothing was too hard. The location is superb walking distance to shops ( SM Aura and Market Market), endless dining options and it feels safe walking around.

Closet doors are somewhat broken. It makes loud squeaking noise when used, disturbing one who’s sleeping while the other was trying to open it.

The staff are awesome. Location is great. The facilities needs update and cleaning like the pool edges . Bathroom faucets seems to small for the sink. Overall stay still good and recommended. Buffet breakfast is good too.

They accommodates early check in. They gave us water bottles every night. Very accommodating. Endless restaurants right under the property.

The staff at the front mistreated me. Asked so many stuff before we could check in despite us having complete files from our many previous stays. 3:15pm and still couldn’t get me a room until 5-ish pm. And this was a stay where we had to wake up from 3am on 2 flights from Japan. I hope management does something to that employee. So unbecoming of a front desk staff. Even to a point of raising his voice on me perhaps out of annoyance of my demands why my room isn’t ready at 3pm.
