We had a mix-up on check-in where our neighbors across the stair landing were in our unit drinking wine because their code didn't work on their's but did work on ours. After encouraging them to depart, we moved in. Unit was small but functional with a good climb up the stairs. There were no paper towels, dishwashing soap, kleenex, etc. The balcony on the roof was very hardvl to get out to through a crawl space door. Air conditioning andheatwerehardtocontrol. . Other than that, we made it work.

I was rather concerned about the practice that the access code for the lock is sent out only at 3pm on the arrival day; for travelers without cellular service in Italy that is a worry, but we had wifi on the train, so everything worked out well. We came with the vaporetto, five minutes walking from the station: no problem. The apartment looks better from inside than outside; indeed it is a very nice and modern apartment, just what we needed for our three children. Everything in Venice is walkable, one needs to explore a bit, but there is a supermarket in 10-15min distance, as well as various restaurants. It is a bit out of the tourist zone, so a bit quieter, but the tourist places are in easy walking distance. We will be happy to use this apartment again, if we come again to Venice.

All-in-all a very nice place to stay and for us, we loved that it was a bit away from the more popular areas thus keeping it quiet but close enough to everything.

Very clean rooms. Location was okay.
