Our overnight stay was completed this mid January in this summer oriented community. We returned to Riverwalk Inn due to our previous stay; most importantly, our near hibernate sleep in the same bed from the previous stay. There are unique crafted features that chain motels avoid, and we welcome, like copper tube shelf/ hangers, world map switch covers, a hand painted large rose for the "Rose" unit on a pocket door, and tasteful (non-blasé) art hangings. The space is small, with adequate amenities, with a queen bed - not king sized; neither are we. Location; there's civilized walking path near the river across the non-busy street in the Park. It leads to old downtown district in a growing town of about 5,000 folks. Many restaurants, local bookstore, good coffee shops, and many specialty stores to support the thousands of vacationers. Staff; we enjoyed our chat with the Innkeeper after having a secluded drive to Riverwalk Inn. Such interactions area welcomed icing on the cake. We will return.

Front desk staff was amazing. Friendly, helpful and professional. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed and linens ever!!

Clean and comfortable. Good location with the Riverwalk next door. Room layout is interesting. There’s only a kitchen sink and no sink or vanity in the bathroom. Their cafe has great breakfast and lattes. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Riverwalk was very close to most everything I wanted to see and do. Staff was extremely helpful about location of restaurants and other businesses. Great access to town and public transportation. The town was very neat and clean.

Quiet clean and very comfortable and affordable rates for the one night stay. Excellent breakfast at their restaurant. I’ll be back for another stay next year.

Great location. Perfect room

I feel this facility is way over priced for what you get. Had the Rose room which is very small. Bad mattress but it did a memory foam topper which did help but it needs to be replaced. The room would benefit from black out shades since the outdoor lights shine in that room and for me it was difficult to sleep. The big sign saying BREAKFAST and BAKERY are not always open which we didn't know until we got there, closed Tues & Wed I think, check with them. Excellent location for dining and walking about town. The facility is old and a bit funky but I liked it.

We had street parking and the window shade didn't fit the window letting the porch light shine in all night, what a waste of money. No sleeping here across from the park that had a hot rod show that started at 6:30 am. rev rev

It’s an older property so expect creaks and noises from the building and the walls are quite thin- but it’s so cute and comfortable and the staff are so kind and friendly! And you can’t beat the location!

Cute place close to lake!!

This is an older hotel but clean and VERY convenient to walk to town. They serve a nice breakfast in the cafe. Their cinnamon rolls and sticky buns are delicious!

A comfy bed, a hot sower, a mini-fridge and microwave, drawers to put our clothes in, the space was what we needed for our brief stay in Chelan. And it was across the street from a park along the river.

Everything was great. Definitely old school with the keys and everything in room but clean and close walk to downtown and shops.

Everything so close within walking distance

Love these little rooms that are just off the main street in Chelan. Farmers' Market is held right next to the hotel on Thursday afternoons!

River walk inn was perfect for a few night getaway. Easy parking. Great location. Quiet. Comfortable beds. Friendly staff. Only improvement I can think of is perhaps darker blinds. It’s fully light in the room even with shades down. Other than that it was fantastic. No complaints at all! Great job.

Convenient and close to everything. Very old, very, very small, and TV only had Netflix.

This is a quaint hotel in the center of town next to the park adjacent to the lake. Very pretty here and the hotel is a good choice if you want to be able to walk to town which is 2 blocks away. There are several restaurants within 5 minute walk and lots of shops near by. The main lobby/cafe area is cute and updated. They have pastries for sale at the front and the people who own this hotel are the owners of the Stehekin Pastry Shop so that’s a score! The only down thing I have to say is that the grounds around the facility need a a good weeding/landscaping. It is very unkempt and I kept thinking how charming this place could be if they gave it a little attention to up the curb appeal. Overall I would recommend this hotel for its location and charm.

Great stay - friendly staff

They did 1day of room service in a Week . We had To go buy toilet paper at a store since there was no staff around. The bedding was terrible it wouldn’t stay on the bed I think it was the wrong size

The room was clean and within close walking distance to shops and restaurants. The bed was very comfortable. It is, however, an older property and the accomodations are basic.

Terrible bathroom

Donna does a fabulous job and the place is wonderful. This is the 3rd stay all in different rooms and each has its own charm. The restaurant and folks there are all super helpful and we can’t say enough good things.

Good location right next to the river front park and just a block from downtown restaurants and shops. Rooms are small but adequate. Beds have a very soft topper cushion.

It was cute and had a community feel to it. The bed and bedding was a little uncomfortable. The bed was slanted causing our feet to be higher than our heads and it was very wobbly feeling every movement one of is made. There was also no top sheet, which I thought was odd and made it hard to control body temp when the AC would kick off. It was either comforter or nothing. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

The Rose room wasn't as updated as the room I stayed in previously, but it was fine. Rustic is a good description.
