I planned a very last minute trip to Myrtle Beach with my 7 year old. It was a very quick walk to the beach so I booked the hotel. The room I was supposed to be in wasn’t cleaned yet so they put me in another room right away. I knew I was Going to be out all day long so it did what I needed it for. Just to sleep and shower. But I will say, the doors should be checked. There was a gap between the door and wall, which made me a little nervous so I made sure the chain was always on when we were in the room. But it is really a great location and you can walk to a bunch of places without having to pay those crazy parking lot fees!

4floors, no elevator. Ice machine 1st floor only. No frills inn. Office closed at night. Charge more if U want a lower floor. Not for seniors or families.

Our Checkin was a great experience! Kountry was very kind! But the room was dirty, there was lots of dirt and dust under the beds, I found a few hairs in the shower that were mine, I found some old clothing under the sink drawer and one of the linens had some cigarette burns which made it uncomfortable when sleeping.

Midtown was excellent! The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and the hotel itself is very cute, plus it was very easy to walk down to the beach.

Super easy check in! Don't let the outside fool you. There's a lot of remodeling going but inside was extra clean. Bathroom was gorgeous. Super soft beds and pillows. We will stay there again!

Let's see, let's start with the good. It was very clean, and it is very convenient to walk to a number of things right at the ocean front , and it's one of those you get what you pay for situations and you can't beat the price for what you get. The not so good. The building is a bit dated and our door didn't close without extreme force. The single pain glass on the front made it very loud for things driving down the street, particularly at 3:00 a.m. when the street sweeper came through. Overall though, inexpensive and clean so you can ask for too much more

The host was very nice and knowledgeable about the area. The room floors were gritty and our top blanket was dirty but overall everything was good

Tv wouldn’t come on and the trash can outsides plastic liner kept flapping all Night and drive me crazy, but if you move the can and call down for tv help you’ll be okay. Very clean

Beds were comfortable, fridge and freezer had separate doors, and hot water was pretty fast. Would be good to add some coat hooks since there is no closet to hang some clothes. Had an issue with the Smart tv but was fixed quickly.

unfortunately, this property has a great location, close to the beach and the boardwalk area. I had two double beds and one bed had dirty sheets, someone has slept in the bed and housekeeping did not change the sheets, there were crumbs and dead knats in between the sheets. Just fyi, because of its location to the boardwalk area, you can hear the club music until 2 am. I couldn't sleep at all with the loud music pumping all night. The update bathroom would have been a nice hihglighted feature of the room but it had mold in the shower stall area, the shower current had mold on it and there were splatter marks all over the mirror and walls around the bowl sink. Just plain lack of house keeping! The new flooring was nice but it was littered with dirt. Great they left you with a broom and dust pan but when you try to pick up after sweeping the dust pan is not flush with the floor so no can do. Its shame because this property could have a lot of potential if they maintained the property and enhanced the retro vibe and actually did some house keeping. Oh there are no cottages to be found. Huge disappointment

What? It is clean comfortable and centrally located. pool is clean and I enjoyed my third stay there. A shame I didn't know sooner.

Close to the beach Pretty rough shape

It was close to the beach and at a fairly reasonable price.

Staff was great , the room was really nice and clean , we were only a few blocks from the beach but had an Oceanview room , walking distance to shops and Ripleys Believe or not , a few restaurants were walking distance..we will be staying here again

Rooms are spacious and clean. Very accessible and close to the beach. The staff are very helpful. I also like that they have 24 hour free coffee at their reception area. I would definitely recommend this to travellers who are on the budget.

Quick 2 minute walk to the beach or to Ripleys and the town area. Location is perfect! It is an older motel that has had some renovations. Ac unit is still the original. Kept things cool, but constantly ran. We would stay again!

Will definitely book here again in the future but will request a bottom level room then stairs almost took me out 😂

Good atention

Got a great deal the week before Labor Day. The building and its furnishings are vintage 1960's, though clean and well maintained. Management was welcoming, staff not so much as they generally did not return "good morning" or "good day" with little more than grunts. It could be worse I suppose. Maybe I missed it in the room details, but I was surprised to find it included a small but complete kitchen - a nice bonus if you plan to stay for several days.

Spent five days, no elevator, but got in a ton of steps. Staff was great. Rooms were clean, brand new comfortable beds, and the AC worked great will definitely be coming back.

Facility is open building, 4 story high with no elevator. unfortunately, the room was not cleaned or serviced from previous guests and bed was dirty and stained.no soap in bathroom. i did not ask for money back and they didn’t offer. not a good experience.

good for the price paid.
