Room was not cleaned when I checked in, but I was given a new, clean room right away.
Front door wouldn’t open either. Very frustrating.

Very comfortable bed room has full amenities fridge, stove and microwave. Right next to Adventureland and easy driving to Des Moines children’s hospital.

Hotel and room were very clean and smelled great. Very accomadating for pets. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance.

Check in was great, room was clean but maintenance was way behind. Drawer fronts were coming apart, toilet water ran constantly, and the water pipes hammered as you took a shower.

Wanted a little weekend get away. Reserved 2 nights. Check in was great, the staff was very friendly and was allowed to check in early which was really nice. In order to open the door to our room we had to put all of our weight into it, same with closing it. This was very annoying. The bath tub was not the cleanest there was hair in the corner. The water pressure was great and hot hot water. Which I love! The recliner was super comfy. The bed on the other hand was rock hard, did not sleep well and definitely felt it the next morning. Did not sleep well as it sounded like they were doing construction on the room above us all night. We made the decision that we could not do another night in this place. Again the staff was super nice and very accommodating where they not only return our money for the night we did not stay but also reinbursed us for the night we stayed.
Overall not a comfortable place to sleep. But again the staff was very nice.

All around how great place. Check in lady was pleasant and the room was very clean. We have never been disappointed at a My Place hotel.

The amenities in the room were very convenient full size refrigerator, microwave and screened windows that opened . Loved the convenience and location to Texas Roadhouse movie theater Prairie meadows horse track and casino . Everything about my place was beautiful, I would highly recommend this hotel

The air conditioning was broken and had been for some time because they had tiny oscillating fans in some of the rooms.
All the beers on tap were broken.
Customer complaints since June 10th about the a/c. Did not notify us of this and “acted” surprised when I said the ac didn’t work.
Rooms not cleaned and ready until after 3:30. Manager walking around observing while one guy tried to check 20 customers in himself. The line was to the door.
Sinks didn’t drain in some rooms.
3 Vending machines broken.
Only good thing about this stay was the staff, ESPECIALLY Cathy and Niko in the Greenery and the Oasis.
Will NEVER stay here again as it is obvious the company/management is not concerned about customer experiences whatsoever. It wouldn’t take much to get this place back to great.

Check in process was smooth and easy. Staff explained everything completely. Definitely will think of a My Place hotel in the future after such a great experience.

Pretty cool there was a kitchen setup in the rooms, bed was decent on comfort - it was a little stiff but it was overall a really nice property & also enjoyed the walking distance to Texas Roadhouse

The beds are a little uncomfortable one of our mattresses felt like it had a dip in it. But other than that I was very surprised that there was a little kitchenette in our room.

I never got to stay, even though you confirmed my reservation, they said you overbooked them and they had no room.

Very well maintained and clean property. Stayed here for the Drake Relays and was completely satisfied. Just a tip, if you plan to use the cooktop, you need to bring your own pans as they’re not supplied due to regulations, which is odd.

I called ahead due to our very late arrival. The gal was pleasant and told me exactly what to do when we arrived. She even explained to me how to get the ice maker in our room to work so we had fresh ice in the morning. Shower was hot and the room was pretty clean.
