This was a one-night stay traveling to Illinois from Colorado. Great location, nice restaurants close by. Friendly staff, clean room and facility

This property really needs updated. It is close to several good restaurants & we actually walked to them. Easy to get on & off interstate from here.

Great stay in an excellent hotel!

I didn’t bring a measuring tape, but I’m pretty sure the “queen” beds were actually full size. The cleaning crew left my room open after cleaning it. All of my personal belongings were exposed and available to be stolen. The breakfast options were minimal. Last but not at all least, the pool area was absolutely awful. The photos are inaccurate depictions of the actual pool; It is much smaller in person. My son fell and hit his head immediately upon entering the pool area and fell multiple times during our visit because the tile was so wet. There is not enough space in that room. There was some tread tape down but it was spaced wider than an adult stride, let alone a child’s stride. The entire floor should be tread tape to prevent injury. Also, the water was so cloudy and smelled so strong of bleach and chlorine. I’m pretty sure they just dumped shock it in the pool to keep it “clean”. We were in the pool for maybe 30 min before I made my kids get out. I was worried we would get an infection or something from how dirty it was.

The pool was cold. There was a makeup pallete left in our room from the previous renters. The phone did not work in the room. The noise level in the hotel was loud, could hear running in the halls pretty late at night. Very outdated hotel. Walking distance to Perkins was nice as the hotel breakfast was a no for us.

Rooms are old and dated. They could do a much better job of cleaning outside. Trash cans are uncovered, weeds around the property, parking lot is dirty. Front desk was unfriendly, rooms are old, bathroom was outdated.

The bathroom the bathtub was totally broken we told them about it but they did not do anything about it and the breakfast buffet was no food there at all

Staff was polite and courteous. Breakfast was better than expected, loved the waffle maker.

Old and run down

Staff was friendly check in easy breakfast was lacking but not bad. Small pool but was heated and clean.

I do not like it when $50 is charged to me right away and then if the room is okay when I leave, then they will reimburse me the $50. The bathroom had paint peeling away and there were other little signs that there were poorly patched holes in the walls. I was happy that I was able to check in at 11:30PM - some reception areas close sooner. The free breakfast was nice and the parking lot seemed safe.

The lady that was on shift when I checked in was friendly and helpful. The two guys that were on shift when I checked out had to ask if I needed help, after I rang the bell. Then it was rude to speak in another language in front of me while I was checking out, I don't know it was just uncomfortable.

Just needed a bed for the night. Breakfast was sufficient. Egg patties, sausage links, cereal, toast and bagels. Yogurt and oatmeal. Also fresh fruit.

Not very easy to get into. Terrible signage. Coulsnt tell if i was supposed to go in through McDonald's or Taco Bell...it's not McDonald's.

Customer service

Clean and comfortable. Not fancy but works fine for an over night. Pool is on the smaller side if that makes a difference.

easy access and close to our destination

The bed supported my bad back wonderfully and the pillows were very soft. I was disappointed that they were out of peanut butter and strawberry cream cheese at breakfast. They claimed that the cereals were Coco Puffs, Cheerios, and Frosted Flakes, but they were just bland generic versions.

Staff was fantastic!

My stay was the week leading up to and including the huge blizzard in December. There was a diesel truck idling in the parking lot outside my window, which added a new unfavorable dimension. The continental breakfast was awful. 1 or 2 microwaved sausage (that was of questionable meat quality), and a couple fake egg patties. Cereal looked like dog food. No non-sugar items. dry bread. no juice. Crummy machine generated coffee. BUT! It was a low cost hotel.
