Hotel Gamla Stan, BW Signature Collection

Great location. Tasty breakfast with lots of choice. Staff friendly and helpful. Room clean. No air con but a fan in the room was fine.

Here is a polished version under 1,500 characters: Our family enjoyed our stay at Hotel Gamla Stan. We chose one of the larger rooms with two separate beds, and the space worked well for us, including the sofa bed, which was already prepared with linens. The main drawback was the lack of air conditioning. The room became quite warm during the summer nights. A fan was provided, but unfortunately, it stopped working on the first night and produced a burning smell and smoke, so we immediately unplugged it. Although the windows could be opened, doing so made sleeping difficult because of loud music and people partying nearby. There appeared to be a club in the area, with music playing loudly from approximately 11:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m. The windows also did not provide much airflow, and because it stays light late into the night during the summer, keeping them open while trying to use the blackout curtains was challenging. On a very positive note, the breakfast was outstanding, with many delicious options. We also appreciated the complimentary water, coffee, and snacks available in the lobby. The staff was consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful with directions and recommendations for nearby attractions. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, but air conditioning and better noise control would have made the experience much more comfortable.

Excellent location, great views if you book the right rooms, extensive and tasty breakfast and small but clean rooms. Great value for money.

Great location in Gamla Stan. The staff we're very friendly and we could check in early which was a plus. A good but not brilliant breakfast. Overall, great value for what we paid.
