We check in and the room had dead rouches . then we have a terrible noise all night coming from the pipes . we requested a change of room they did not have any and we could not cancel and leave because they will charge us anyway . Next day same thig and even thought we asked for the room to be maid , no even one of the days was done , no one came from housekeeping to clean the room. One of my sport jackets was stolen from the room or simply disappear ... we asked to please chaneg our room and only on the last day the room was changed . Horrible experience, under staffed hotel . people at the front desk did the best they could I want my money back

First time staying at a Tru by Hilton. And let me tell you how impressed I was. Very clean & comfy, the fitness room was great. Breakfast every morning & coffee all day, if that's your thing. EVERYBODY that worked there was AMAZING !
And I'm disabled & in a wheelchair(ugh). There's NO CARPET in the rooms. Just that makes it so much easier for me. Cleaner than carpet, cuz that kinda always freaked me out anout hotels, even before I was disabled. Cleaner too. I can't say enough good things about it! Thank you sooo much Tru by Hilton Atlanta!!!!❤️🤗

MY CAR WAS STOLEN. There is no security in the parking lot. They don’t take your vehicle info at check in because they don’t patrol the lot at all. Then when I asked for some sort of credit or refund for the ONE NIGHT I stayed- they refused. The actual hotel is nice enough- but the security is non existent.

The lady at the front desk was very friendly and attentive. The room was okay. There was hair on the floor, on the shampoo bottle, in the shower. Also found stains on the pull down shade. Just wished it was a little bit more cleaner.

This is not a Hilton standard hotel, the bed was hard as a rock(mattress on top of a piece of plywood),no microwave no closet to hang your clothes in,it clean though.Its only good for a overnight stay...

I was having a pretty good stay (didn’t mind that my sink leaked-I just put a towel down), but when I was asked to bring my dirty towels down to the front desk in order to receive clean ones, I was flabbergasted! And then I was told by the housekeeping person that “this was a 2-star hotel,” I was appalled. He told me this wasn’t a full service hotel! It was very off-putting! Finally, I was told to pick up my clean towels when I returned from my outing. I’ll never stay here again because of the poor attitudes of the workers (except the lady that checked me in-she was wonderful) and their noncommittment to keep guests moderately happy. This hotel was a loser to me and I shall not return.

Hotel was very clean throughout. Rooms were comfortable, lobby was nice, and breakfast area was nice. Staff was friendly. I would give this place 5 stars, but they only served skim milk for breakfast. I only drink 2% or whole milk.

The room was on the first floor. It was a connecting room. There were drunks in the next room. We could every word thru the adjoining door. They were hitting something making a loud bang and occasionally someone would come to their door and bang on door like drunk idiots.
11 PM rolled around, I had to go to the service desk and complain.
In addition the room darkening shade was missing, so we had to deal with the parking lot light coming in thru the window. Room 120 is a bust.
My daughter and her kids were upstairs in room 221 and no issues.

I like to use Tru for short term stays. The rooms have a decent bed, non carpeted floors, and bright nice sized bathrooms.

Overall It was a great stay. The only issue I encountered was the AC Unit did leak a little water. There was no flooding and the issues were addressed.

Well checked in and went to the room to find to go cups all over the room. They moved me but very bothersome. Had a child with me so had to go back downstairs to get another room. Then the next day they came to room took dirty towels but left none and didn’t empty trash so again I had to go to house keeping to get towels. Not good for it’s time staying with you.

Not the best. The hotel was noisy. The black out blinds did not work. The breakfast was mediocre. You could hear everything through the walls. Very uncomfortable.

Couldn’t get temperature regulated in room, thermostat was on lowest possible however the room was extremely hot.

Good quiet location. Friendly staff. Easy parking. All was clean except floors throughout building, not just room. Beds soft and pillows flat feather pillows.

There was an issue with check in. I arrived at 4pm and check in was at 3 so I was an hour late and when I got there I was unable to check in because they were behind on housekeeping and getting the rooms ready and when I asked if there was an estimated time that the room would be ready they couldn’t give me a specific time. I was staying there with my husband and child and we were in town to celebrate my sons birthday and we were on a time constraint due to a reservation we had and we couldn’t settle in, shower, or change our clothes prior to the engagement. I was really disappointed and we ended up having to call a family member to ask if we could get dressed there which made us late to our engagement. After we finally checked in around 7pm that night the rest of the stay was great.

A pleasant weekend visiting the greater Atlanta area. Good choice of lodging for us. Centrally located, and easy to access. Clean and comfortable

Nice, newer hotel close to Northlake Mall. The rooms are compact but still have plenty of room for a couple with luggage. Large screen TVs make viewing a pleasure. Bathroom was bright and clean. Two things I’d change - need an open electrical outlet on both sides of the bed (one side was full so I had to unplug the clock) and the glass shower door needs to be adjusted. It was a bear to open and close.

I read the reviews before booking. I will say that my experience with the staff from check in to check out was amazing. Everyone was friendly and very helpful and answered all the questions. The hotel and nice as well as the room. I could hear the people upstairs occasionally but that didn't bother me. If you are looking for really nice restaurants close by, they don't have any. But everything is available with a short drive. The price point was good and so were the amenities. Plus breakfast and parking is included. I would stay here again.
