It was really nice but would be better if the fridge was better stocked and didn’t have to go downstairs for a Pepsi or a snack. Fill the room bar up then audit upon check out, you would probably sell more.

We loved everything about this hotel. The service was fantastic - our first night we were able to grab a snack and a drink at the bar and the service was so friendly. The entire hotel, from the lobby, to the elevators, to the room, was exceptionally clean. The amenities were wonderful! Love the hydration station on each floor where carafes were provided to fill with ice and/or water to have in our room, and we could fill up our water bottles for the day. Love the coffee, tea and hot cocoa available in the lobby at tall times. And we very much appreciated the bucket of umbrellas available for our use on a rainy day when we wanted to walk the Duke campus.

This new "stark" decor is not to my preference. The walls are very thin and we could hear our neighbor's talk and music/tv. Bed comforter was hot with no blanket option. Had to pay for outside parking?

we had a wonderful stay everything was clean and the staff was very helpful and professional. the rooms were very nice and the gym was the best gym i've ever been in at a hotel by far!!

Nice stay and staff. It’s hard to find rooms without carpet we’ll definitely be back every time for our visit to Duke.

We enjoyed our stay at AC Hotel Durham. Only issue was one day they forgot to clean our room. However, when I called, some one was sent right up to clean it. Would be nice if there was more selections or options on food menu.

There is no supermarket and convenience shop around property. There is limited restaurant around property.

First time in Durham for a game with my son. Did not know where to stay. Found it in line and was very pleased. Clean comfortable and close to our various destination

Superb location. Staff is friendly. Room was not the cleanest, but is fine. The parking fee was not mentioned at checking. We ended up paying 12 dollars per day for parking, which we could have save just by parking across the building. We do not like to encounter hidden fees. The issue with the parking erase any trusworthiness in the business.

I was put in a room for those hearing impaired and since I’m not hearing impaired the enhanced acoustics were truly unbearable. I did not know what the issue was until I noticed the ear sign by my door.

Great location. We were there for a Duke football game and the hotel was perfect for walking to the game. Lots of great eating places near the hotel. The hotel itself was very clean and up to date on everything. I would highly recommend.

Excellent facilities and the property is maintained immaculately, with excellent ambiance, lighting design of rooms and even the room fresheners. Staff is friendly, helpful. Standard queen bed rooms are large for 2, and bathrooms are very clean too. Parking on multiple levels is convenient, and overflow parking to the premises nearby is also good. Walking distance from Duke and Duke hospital and all major university west campus locations. Plenty of duke and triangle go buses are also available. The hotel offers bikes too. Certainly will be back!

The hotel was lovely in most ways — except, in my case, the most important one. I searched on Expedia for hotels that offer EV charging, and this one was listed. When I arrived, I found out there was none. Luckily, there was EV charging within walking distance, but I had to pay $30 to park in the lot where it was located (and had to pay for the charging as well). Insult to injury, I got a parking ticket as well, even though I was paid up. When you're driving an EV long distances for travel, charging is essential. This error in the listing — whether it was caused by Expedia, or the hotel — nearly ruined my trip. Sorry, it's an unforgivable sin (made worse by the inconvenience and cost it caused).

I really enjoyed staying here. The team is truly amazing, kind, genuine and with great care to details. It was one of the best stays I ever had for it felt comfortable, clean, warm and at home. I definitely loved the lavender amenity at the front counter. What a nice surprise! Thank you for making this trip so great!

Very pleasant stay, the only problem to mention is indeed the tight parking, especially if you go with a big SUV, minivan etc.

Overall nice. The lobby had smelled of cigarette smoke which seemed like it was coming in from the air ducts. The noise between rooms from beside and above was more than most. But place was very clean, modern, and the staff was nice. Don’t see a reason for a cost for parking.

The hotel lobby, rooms service ...all good. The sound in the room was bad. We were on the 3rd floor and it sounded like a herd of elephants walking in room above. Could even hear snoring coming from room next to ours. I'm amazed that Marriot would build a very nice facility and then not do something special with sound deafening insulation.
