We had a lovely weekend at The Red Lion. The staff were incredibly helpful both ahead of and during our stay, and the pub food and breakfasts were very tasty.
Our room felt a little dated and in need of maintenance in places, especially in the bathroom, but it served its purpose for our stay and we would be happy to go again.

Excellent location, service, staff, management and the young lady on breakfast called Ellie absolutely amazing perfect host pleasant smiling and super efficient. Room perfect clean breakfast excellent. Third visit now and shall be returning

The team at the red lion go out of their way to make your stay with them excellent in all respects.
This is a very old hotel/pub, not easy to keep clean and tidy, but the room and bathroom were clean and tidy.The bed was very comfortable
The evening meal was excellent as was the breakfast.
An all round very good place, which was a pleasant change from most places we have stayed
A special thank you for meeting our request for sheet and blanket in place of duvet.
