Balcony view of ocean. Good breakfast having my little dog with me. Size of room. Pool. And close to activities. Feeling safe.
My room wasn’t clean when we arrived. Shower and floors were dirty. The rest was great.

Everything was exceptional! We loved the location, the room was perfect for our family with everything we needed and super comfortable beds. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Everything about this hotel is 5stars. This is our go to hotel everytime we are in Galveston. We absolutely love everything about it.

It was easy to find, close to the beach you can walk. The breakfast was good.
The staff Jessica was her name when I called to ask questions she acted like she couldn’t be bothered with my stupid questions. The door stop on the back of the bathroom door was broke. They don’t tell you that there are 2 spots for breakfast so depending where you are walking you have to figure it out on your own. I thought paying $10 dollars a day on top of your stay for parking was a little much. If someone is paying to stay there they shouldn’t have to pay for parking.

We loved our stay! Our suite was very large and clean , we loved the balcony and views of the water. Friendly and helpful staff. We received a great recommendation for a shuttle to the Port. Loved the decor, bright and cheerful and we thought the room was so comfortable, really nice to have a kitchenette and living room space. Breakfast was good and we liked the 2 different options for breakfast locations. We didn't have a car so we appreciated close access to a trolley stop and walking distance to Gaido's Restaurant and others. Loved walking across the street and walking the beach in the morning!
Only thing that would make it better is if it was right on the water, busy street but easy access to the beach across the street. Breakfast area can be busy, lots of cruise passengers.

Great Continental breakfast, we ate the pizza place that night which was practically in the parking lot. Ocean view with a balcony was a surprise too! E would stay again if we cruise from Galveston!

The hotel is in a great spot. The staff graciously accommodated us when we decided we'd like to stay an additional night. The beds were really comfortable, and the room was clean.
Pillows could use a little help; they went flat pretty quickly.

Our balcony could have been a little bit more private we had people's windows directly on our balcony.

Everything was great. The breakfast was good and the pool was fun for the kids.
The sound proofing was not great. We were woken up several times from people in the hall banging around or people running above us.

New and in safe area
Heard footsteps sounding like elephants from above us until 4am. Poor insulation didn’t get any rest on third floor. Book top floor. Didn’t have any towels left upon arrival and stationary lotion bottle was empty.

I love that the property is so clean!
Upon check-in on the 12/8 stay, our reservation had been canceled because the hotel had tried to charge a card that didn’t work. The issue must have been on the hotel’s side because it happened to everyone in the group, so no way we all had bad cards. That was super scary to try to check in with no reservation. The front staff did work to fix it, but they weren’t super nice about it. That said, they fixed the issue and we checked in fine.

Location was perfect
The hotel was dirty and confusing - two hotels that share the same reception, meaning twice as long to check in and two breakfast areas which were confusing and people bottlenecked causing delays. The grass around the property was completely saturated in dog feces. We had no remote in our room for the TV so were unable to watch it and the hotel staff were useless in helping.

This was our second stay at this hotel, and we like the hotel very much. It is clean and comfy, and Amanda at the front desk was amazing! My son was sick, so she allowed me to pay extra for a late check-out so he could rest. She went out of her way to be friendly, accommodating, and thoughtful. The breakfast was yummy, and our group all got to sit together and eat and visit. The balcony room was nice, too and the rooms are roomy. Eat at Pappa’s Pizza right in front of the hotel. Great food and wonderful French fries!!
This was our second stay at the hotel (we were in Galveston for a cruise), and it was great. Nothing negative to say.

Beautiful hotel - the room was ~$160 - what I did not realize until I checked out they charged me $20 for parking and $75 for having a pet. I was totally shocked if these hidden fees!!!!
