The location is really great its a not too far of a walk from many sites and there are good restaurants nearby as well. The place has a great feel to it with the living area slightly below the entry and the bedroom. You can really shut out the light too if you want to with the heavy doors on the windows. Its funny the simple addition of the extra fans in the room makes it so much more comfortable.
It was a little tricky at first to get in but that was due to us wanting to get in a little early so getting the codes took a bit.
Once we got in the front door though and got the lock box code everything was good.

It felt like we had our own renaissance mansion for our short stay. It's wonderfully located and appointed and would suit a much longer stay than the three nights we had. It's located very close to the Uffizi and the River walking distance to everything you're in Florence to see. There are some amazing little restaurants nearby that aren't rammed full of tourists.
It was the most onerous booking procedure on our entire trip, requiring lease documents, multiple communications and documents back-and-forth. I think property this is probably more set up for longer stays, where this makes more sense. The final cost was also much more than what was quoted on booking.com. The hosts were lovely the whole way through and getting access when we arrived was super easy.
