This is a quaint and very cosy spot. It is so peaceful and has all the facilities required for a very comfortable self-catering stay. The host's communication was good and she even came to check up on us in the middle of a storm!

The remote location the quality and standard of the accommodation
The road to the location is more suitable for a high rise vehicle as we drove standard car. Directtion boards could be more visible on the road as there is no signal in the area.

The property is an absolute gem. Perfect place to unwind and get away from the stresses of life. The hosts were fantastic and went above and beyond.

Loved the remote location. Beautiful glimpses of the Hantam from the accomodation itself, and the entire range on the drive there. The bed was super comfy and cozy in winter. Loved the cute bathroom shutter window! The place is light and airy.The accomodation is smaller than what we usually live in, but was still comfy. Calvinia central not too far fromnthe accomodation ( all dust road)
Loved everything, but tall folk beware..you will probably bang your head a few times on the low doors, before you learn your lesson 😉
