Magnolia Manor and Chapel

The owners are wonderful, and we enjoyed talking with them. Our room was very spacious and clean. There were cookies, chocolate, and mints in our room. The speakeasy had awesome drinks and food. The complimentary coffee in the common area was appreciated and the Sunday brunch was delicious! We only visited for one night as we were traveling through, but our stay was very enjoyable!

This was a very nice surprise stay. Beautiful old building, the Chapel is lovely. The white linen breakfast was first class...the Speak Easy food was great as well....the only thing I would suggest...a step up to the bed (for the old people)....it is very high off the floor and hard to navigate for someone older, however the bed was very comfortable. We had a great time speaking to the owner who was just so sweet. I would give the whole experience an 10 for sure.....

Who wouldn't want to know what it would feel like to stay overnight in a church?! This place is unique! It is very well designed, with all of the modern amenities you would expect, and it is super clean, very comfortable beds, and even has bathrobes ready for your use. Extras that you would not expect, but are super cool, are the Speakeasy and a beer garden on the weekends (we missed these as our travel was mid-week), and a coffee shop in the basement that opens at 6 a.m., which we utilized twice. Some street noise, as the church is located on a corner with a stoplight, but not enough to detract from this very unique experience! Loved walking the small town, too, and checking out Moore Interiors design store across the street, Nails of Grace, and the awesome watercolor exhibit at the West Tennessee Regional Art Center. Cute town; awesome lodging!
