We celebrated a belated Christmas here with our son and his fiancé. Very charming house with a great backyard and unique tidbit's around the house. It was an easy walk to downtown and highly recommend Friar Tucks restaurant!

Sweet house with comfortable beds and furnishings. Loved being within walking distance of downtown Nevada City. Definitely will stay in same place next time I visit Nevada City!

We just spent the weekend at H&D and it was truly the best. Everything about this gem is so charming! We used the fire pit for coffee in the morning (there’s two different style coffee makers), the king bed was super comfy, it was a good walk to get into the cute little historic downtown for coffee, farmers market, pizza, beer, you name it!
The house was very clean and had so many cute personal touches.
•Board games, pack n play for baby, kitchen stuff, extra linens, toiletries. We spent a couple hours enjoying sunshine in the yard and loved every second of being here. NV City and H&D retreat… we will be back! Thank you.

Pros:
SUPER cute house and wonderful little backyard. Very comfortable and felt like home. Great location to walk to downtown.
Slight cons:
Delayed communication (as compared to previous vrbo experiences) re check in process. However, called the property mgmt company and got the info asap. Outdoor fire pit did not work but may have been due to recent rain. Fire alarm went off (due to kids steamy shower and not fully closing bathroom door) but property manager was very responsive and followed up to ensure all was well.
Would DEFINITELY stay here again!

This is a darling home, with plenty of beds for several people. It's a short walk to the darling downtown area where you'll find restaurants, shops and wine tasting.

My husband, daughter and son-in-law took a trip to Nevada City and stayed at this charming home. The home was perfect in every way. It was spotless and well stocked with everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable and the linens were of very fine quality. We can't wait to go back again so we can enjoy the fire pit in the backyard, too much rain this time! It was a short walk into town, which on Saturdays has a wonderful farmer's market. There was no short of great places to eat, drink and shop!

My family of 8 stayed here because we love historic Nevada city district and this property is within walking distance. The Victorian Days Festival is going on today and we can’t wait to attend. The interior is adorable and had plenty of room for all of us. Very clean and welcoming. They provide a binder full of information that made navigating everything so easy. Highly recommend and we plan on making this a regular visit every December.

Delightful cottage style home nestled in the heart of Nevada City. Decided to visit this cute little town and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! Adorable home with plenty of room for the 6 of us. Decorated to perfection but extremly welcoming and comfortable. Quaint backyard with views of the redwoods was perfect for our morning coffee and tea (provided at the home). Walking distance to the artsy downtown filled with great shopping and food. A short drive from the river was amazing…fun for the kids to swim and float. It was a perfect weekend…couldn’t recommend more!

We had an amazing girls weekend in this adorable house! The house is cute, clean, and well maintained. Comfortable beds and all of the amenities you need. The backyard is a great hangout spot.
Excellent location a few blocks from downtown.
Can't wait to come back!

I can't thank Judy ( hostess ) and the owners of this property enough. We were under a mandatory evacuation from our home and the property was a blessing. Someday we might spend a few days hanging out in downtown Nevada City. This certainly would be the place we would like to stay.

Stayed here for a girls weekend and we had the best time! The house was perfect!! Everything we could possibly need and the cutest decor. Location cannot be beat. So close to downtown. The backyard was our favorite part. Perfect for morning coffee and evening wine/smores. Definitely will plan to return again.

This house is charming and comfortable with everything one might need. The location is perfect, walking distance to restaurants, shops, and more. My baby and I loved spending time in the cozy backyard while watching the squirrels and birds feed. Definitely coming back!

My daughter and I - along with our pup - had a lovely stay. House was beautiful and every touch was thought of. Some funny decor throughout so pay attention ;-)
