The property was very well appointed to a high standard. Two very comfortable en suite bedrooms with excellent beds.
Upstairs was an open plan lounge and kitchen with high-quality appliances and good seating.
The information provided online was very comprehensive and useful.
From the lounge we could see no views of the Lakes.
The cottage was in the small village of Great Broughton, 3 miles from Cockermouth. It was down a very narrow lane, made narrower by scaffolding on one of the other buildings. There was very little clearance for manoeuvring our hired Peugeot, which was bigger than expected.

The location of the property was fantastic, and the views were equally impressive. The property itself was great, with a lovely welcome basket waiting for us on arrival. The beds were very comfortable, and the en suites were modern and well maintained. The keysafe was easy to access, and the code was sent to us on the morning of our arrival, which made check‑in simple and stress‑free.
There were a few very slight cleanliness issues, such as some hair in the bathroom, but once I informed the host, she swiftly rectified the situation. The bedding also felt a little well‑loved and could benefit from being replaced.
The parking area was quite narrow. I have a Qashqai and found it a tight squeeze, so guests with larger cars might find access a little challenging.
Overall, we still had a great stay.

Beautiful modern property with great facilities and beautiful views of the Lake District! We would definitely come back!

The cottage was lovely, very clean and it did not disappoint.
Only few ‘slight’ complaints would be:
Not all the jets in the hot tub were working, so that was a little bit of a disappointment. Enjoyed it all the same though.
Pressure in the shower was very weak, but not sure if that’s an issue in the area with pressure.
I know it was warm for the UK, which we’re not used to, but air conditioning might be something to consider for future. Upstairs can get very warm!
