Beautiful location, charming hotel. The staff were very welcoming and hospitable. The cider and cheesecake were delicious. The gift shop has unique and lovely merchandise. The bridge across the water is a great place for fjord pictures. The ferry dock makes it a busy location, with lots of tourists coming and going. The Viking Valley experience next door made this a perfect stop on my trip.
I was looking forward to having more of a cozy, Viking themed room. My room was very nice, and clean. But it was set up like any other hotel room. The walls are also very thin so I was woken up by my neighbors and could hear almost everything they were doing.

The room was very clean. It was spacious. The theme of Vikings was well done. There were places to eat right there. We ate in their restaurant, ver6good dinner. Breakfast was also great, plenty to choose from. The ferry is right there if you want to use it.

Very unique property, we chose an apartment with kitchentte which was about 100.mt from.main building but extremely clean and cozy. Bed comfy and shower good. Location fantastic. Food at restaurant expensive but can get supplies as service station and diy

Nice setting. Clean sheets.
Price for facilities too high. Poorly stocked kitchen - one knife and one bowl had to ask for others. On arrival staff on reception were not helpful or particularly welcoming. The bedroom is overlooked by front doors of other guests so no privacy unless curtains closed.
