We had a short but wonderful stay at Altar Suites. The room was beautifully decorated, clean and had a great view of the city and the acropolis. The staff were all very kind and helpful with everything.

Great location if you want to visit the Acropolis and Plaka. Lively area with bars and restaurants and accessible by metro so you can explore other areas further from the center. Stunning view of the Acropolis! Nicely decorated rooms.
We only stayed for a night and wanted to rest before exploring the city. Unfortunately we wasted our afternoon due to bad soundproofing; the noise from the guests upstairs made it impossible for us to rest. A carpet could perhaps help reduce the noise.
The reception staff were very kind and gave us a new room which was perfect but we had already spent so much time of the only day we had available in communicating ,packing and unpacking and having a very tiring day overall.
