Mehdi was very accomodating and responsive to all queries we had during our stay. Breakfast was great too. The location is in a very safe area next to Dar El Bacha and is within walking distance to all the souks and attractions within the medina (max 30 min).

We loved Riad Julia! It's perfectly located in the city center but at the same time it is in a quite and silent area. The staff was amazing, always there to help. The Riad itself is a local experience, but you also have the comfort of an hotel (breakfast is included, they clean the room everyday). We'll get back!

The Riad was exceptional ! Perfekt spot to visit Marrakesh. The matress was super comfy. We had everything we needed, our breakfast was nice too. The location was top too: nearby the Medina and directly to the souks. It was in a quiete area while being at the centre at the same time! loved it ! Special thanks to Hussain who is very welcoming, helpfull and hard working to please every guest !

Riad Julia was comfortable and quiet. It was beautifully decorated and had a lovely terrace to spend time on. Houssain was a welcoming host and arranged our airport transfer proactively, and continued to check in with us throughout our stay. He coordinated daily breakfast, hammam and massages at the neighboring sister riad, and our day trip to Essaouria. For one of the days it was raining, so we spent most of our time at the riad. It was a perfect place to spend three nights in Marrakech, thank you Riad Julia!

There is no connection between what appears in the pictures in the Booking site and the reality. Located in a very narrow alley, it is not pleasant to walk there at night. The room is very narrow and the wide iron bed barely leaves a passage. Its sharp and prominent corners are dangerous. A very hard and stiff mattress. There was a night lamp only on one side of the bed, on the other side there is no electrical outlet so it is clear that the picture in Booking is fabricated. Iron furniture of a table and two heavy chairs add more density. The only ventilation in the shower is a large window that opens to the passage where others pass. Old stainless steel sink and old built-in shower with cracks. Very old towels and old and crumbling robes. The breakfast is poor and minimal. Coffee with a burnt taste and watery milk.

The staff was very helpful and friendly, the location was a bit hidden first to find, but close to everything and quiet :) Thanks again everything 🙏

The location was perfect. Close to the medina souks and the taxi stand. The Riad itself was quiet and very well maintained. The terrace was also nice to visit in the mornings or afternoons. Muhammad was a wonderful host.

great location! easy to get to the souks but not right in the middle of things. Mohamed was so kind and helpful to us during our stay.

you could hear everything from the rooms across the courtyard— whole words if they were speaking loud enough. poor woman next to me coughed all night.

The bed mattress was very hard

Alhoucine made us feel very welcome and was really attentive. Breakfast was plenty and delicious (especially the Moroccan pancakes). The rooms were very nice and clean. All in all very good value for money.

Houcine was what makes this property fantastic. He met us from our taxi and took us to the Riad, which was lovely, authentic, clean and comfortable. He made us feel so welcome and safe in a new country and culture. Houcine is a wealth of information and a total asset to the Riad. Big thank you to the rest of the small team also. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend…nothing was too much bother. Thank you so much😃

The best staff we have ever met in our life! They were so kind with us, gave us lots of advices and prepared a delicious breakfast. If you look for a comfortable stay, you need to choose this Riad.

Hussein and Mohamed are amazing human beings and they treated us with a lot of care. breakfast is excellent and location too!

The courtyard was absolutely beautiful, like a tiny paradise and it kept so cool in the day which was exactly what you needed when it was 46° in the city! Mohhamed was so lovely and helpful and friendly and gave great reccomendations. It was so close to the city centre, but so quiet also, perfect location! Breakfast was amazing and there was unlimited mint tea also which never hurts!!

Some issues with the card machine, but there is an ATM around the corner

authentic Riad experience

you could ask anything, nothing was too much. it is a great budget riad in original moroccan style with amazing staff and breakfast in the centre of the medina, close to all sightings.

the riad could use some little minors updating, a fresh coat of paint, not on the originals doors (those are amazing) but the walls could use a new layer. the beds were hard, i would update the matras.
