Venite a gustare la nostra bella casa nella stazione di Cape Fear, situato a pochi minuti di distanza dalla spiaggia e dal Club Shoals. Rilassati e goditi la vita all'aria aperta su uno dei due portici a schermo. Immergiti nella tranquillità di questa casa immersa tra splendidi alberi.
Entrare attraverso un comodo soggiorno dove si può godere di un film sul grande schermo tv, giocare alcuni giochi forniti con la casa, o semplicemente sedersi e rilassarsi. Il mangiare in cucina comprende un tavolo che può ospitare comodamente 7 persone, con una pittoresca panchina incorporata. La cucina è ben fornita con elettrodomestici in acciaio inossidabile e tutto il necessario per cucinare i pasti dopo una giornata in spiaggia. Se si preferisce cenare all'aperto, gustare la cena o un bicchiere di vino e antipasti sulla veranda riparata.
Al piano superiore due ampie camere da letto, ognuna con bagno privato. Una camera da letto offre un letto matrimoniale e l'altra camera da letto, due gemelli e un rotelle. Gli ospiti possono godere della privacy del crofter indipendente che comprende un letto matrimoniale e un bagno completo.
Appena entri dalla spiaggia, fai una doccia nella doccia esterna, che i nostri bambini amano particolarmente!

We absolutely loved this sweet cottage and our stay there to celebrate our anniversary! Well appointed and so clean and comfortable. Great location close to the beach and very quiet neighborhood. We’ve been coming to BHI for 20 years and never get tired of returning for a quiet getaway. Would definitely stay here again. One note to think about visiting in January, none of the restaurants were open so that was a challenge, but the house has a nice kitchen and we didn’t mind cooking food we bought from the market and taking the ferry over to Southport for the day is easy enough to do! Thanks for a great stay!

BHI wonderful- Castaway very nice. Tram zoomed right past us despite arrangements made and being outside waiting. Luckily kind gentleman brought us to the ferry

Another perfect getaway on BHI. This property is exceptional, I had no problems all weekend.

Absolutely love BHI and had a great trip, and overall the rental was good, but there were some cons with the rental that kept it from getting 5 stars: 1) biggest concern was that the doors wouldn't lock. There's a note about having to lift the door/handle and try that way, which we did, but we figured out the actual construction of the knobs keeps the latch from fully extending...so it was literally impossible to lock. The good news is that BHI feels extremely safe, so it wasn't a huge concern...but would be anywhere else! 2) I had called the rental company prior to the trip and they agreed to an early check in. But when we arrived, the cleaning service had just arrived and we weren't able to get into the house until the standard 4pm time. 3) Outside trash was left from the prior renters. Our stay didn't overlap trash day, which we understood, but it's still kind of off-putting to have overstuffed trash bins with someone else's garbage when you're paying as much as you are. 4) The kitchen has most cooking utensils, but is missing key things like salt. It'd be nice if someone was checking a 'standard inventory' list to make sure the basics were there. 5) It was very cold/windy when we were there and it'd be nice if the golf carts had plastic coverings to help shield the wind like other rentals we've stayed at do. Not a huge issue at all, and the carts worked well, just would've been nice to have. Loved the trip and will absolutely come back to BHI, but will likely look for another place to rent.

We loved everything about this home. It was perfect for two adults and one child but there was plenty of room for additional people. Kitchen is incredibly well appointed. We spent lots of time on the screened in porch and loved puttering around on the golf carts that is included.

609 Kinnakeet Way was the perfect getaway. Not far from the beach, or the hustle and bussel of the island. We really enjoyed having a full kitchen, outside seating area, and convince of golf carts on property.

Great fit for our family of 5 plus grandparents. Clean, comfortable accommodations. Close to Shoals Club. Nice golf carts for everyone. There were actually several bikes, so we didn't need to rent bikes.

The house was very clean and well kept. The kitchen had plenty of dishes, pots and pans, etc. Pantry staples were minimal and they keep the fridge empty so make sure to bring anything you need to cook. The location was perfect to get to both East and South beaches. We enjoyed the bikes as well.

We had a great experience at Castaway. The kitchen was well appointed, the beds were comfortable, golf carts worked well. We just were happy with everything. Thank you!

This little bungalo is very well equiped and very neat and clean. Even the golf carts were swept and not at all sandy. Although we had no interaction with the property manager, the cute pink package of instructions were helpful and were really all that we needed for our stay. We specifically chose this location, and if you do not mind the forest canopy, then Castaway is a very good choice on BHI. We hightly recommend this property and would choose to stay here again.
