Escape From Reality private dock on Lake Hartwell
Lake Hartwell !!!! Portate la vostra barca e godetevi una casa sul lago rinnovata di recente con una splendida vista sul lago dal cottage, veranda protetta o ponte enorme. Godetevi un molo privato con acqua ed elettrico disponibile al bordo delle acque. Il sentiero lastricato dal cottage al lato del lago è pianeggiante con luci per la pesca diurna e notturna. Tranquillo e tranquillo ma a soli 4 miglia a negozi e ristoranti. Questa è una casa più vecchia che ha iniziato la vita come un trailer, ha aggiunto aggiunte ed è stata rinnovata a maggio 2016, che invita a essere casual e confortevole. Godetevi il lago e il ponte di grandi dimensioni con tavoli, sedie, altalena e grill, ampio portico schermato con sedie, lavanderia con lavatrice e asciugatrice. Letto matrimoniale in master, letto full size in camera da letto 2 e divano letto dalla cucina. Letto pieghevole nell'armadio della seconda camera da letto. Soggiorno ha divano e divanetto (divano letto doppio) oltre a comode sedie. La cucina è completamente attrezzata con lavastoviglie portatile, grande tavolo da pranzo (con 6 sedie) e 4 sgabelli da bar al bancone.

It was nice to stay in a home environment with our dogs. We would not have been able to do that in a hotel. Grated the weather was not the greatest but we accomplished what we wanted to while there.

This place was exactly what we needed- no frills, overly simple, welcomed our two boxers (who loved the fenced in yard) and walking down to the dock and sitting down there was great. I was able to work virtually with the wifi and the weather was even nice enough I could do that sitting on the large deck or in the huge screened in porch. The check in process glitched due to a VRBO upgrade, but I messaged the owner and she was VERY quick to respond and give me the code to get it. This place is *not* fancy- it is an old trailer with some additions and updates- so if you are looking for glam, it's not for you. But if you want somewhere that has everything you need (multiple beds, tv, internet, clean, simple and easy, lake front view, fenced yard, great communication with host) come stay here! Even our dogs were relaxed being here.

This property was very clean and comfortable. Communication with Laura was excellent. We enjoyed the deer wandering through in the early morning and just before dusk.

So we made the trip in winter, and overall enjoyed the house and area. The temps were down into the teens at night, maybe 40's during the day. There were some space heaters provided to help warm the house but we found that it put a strain on the entire electrical system and we had to reset the circuit breaks many times as they kept popping, and at night, 15 degree weather is no fun venturing out into to reset circuit breakers.The house itself was ok, as others have noted the floors have a few "soft" spots, seems the house leans a bit, and to us it was a bit cluttered, don't need 4-6 table lamps and ceiling lights for such small rooms. Also, we found cat hair throughout, we love our furry friends, but thankfully we aren't allergic to cats.For a few days it was nice and gave us a place to stay while we did our other business.
