Keys didn’t work (late at night!), bathroom was not clean (toilet/smell), late night noise woke us up (1:30 am), guest coffee lukewarm, outside property unclean…won’t be returning or referring Red Roof Inns to anyone!

The room was clean and comfortable, however, no hair dryer, iron or ironing board in room.

Friendly staff. Easy Expedia transaction. Easy parking. Hot water. Clean linens. Smelled moldy. Worn furnishings and bedding. TV remote, lamp, and electrical outlet not working. Tub, tub surround with either ground in dirt or mold.

I requested a smoke free room but the room smelled of smoke.

The fact that there was trash and food under the bed that was never cleaned up was terrible. I will not be saying anything good about this locatio

I would not recommend this hotel didn’t even stay one night due to issues with the room. They need to be a little bit more clean.

People walking in and out all night, hotel is to old and blankets were durty, one the blanket had blood we only stay one night and paid for 2 nights

This was quite disgusting, there was crumbs and dust everywhere, the bathroom was awful looking, I didn’t even shower it looked so gross. Would never come back to a red roof inn.

This a crack motel. The staff is horrible and rude. I stay in hotels all over the world . This was the worst I have ever been to. All the Indian hotels in their area are very bad. They only do the minimal to barley keep the hotels open. Everything is broken and dirty. If you ask them. Question they make stuff up!

Good, clean property in Hoffman Estates. Easy access to the interstate. Had to check out a day earlier due to unexpected situation, and the Manager was easy to work with in processing the refund. Definitely will book again for my next work/holiday trip.

I do a lot of work on my computer in the room on extended stays so it was nice that things were generally quiet. The guy at the front desk was very friendly. I like that they gave me four pillows because they are thin. Lots of minor damage like every motel I've been to, but everything important worked well.

When I met Hayat K in the front desk, I felt so happy because she understood my requirements and allocated a room according to my needs. First of all, I thought of staying here for a day but because of her, I am extending my stay here for a week with my family.

It is apparent that the current management is struggling to restore this property to previous condition. Prior ownership or management had allowed it to decline. In about a year or so of continued restructure and it should be a great place to reserve.

I didn't like that the ice maker was on the third floor and I was on the first floor. Also a bench was right outside my door which made it loud when people wiould sit there. The room was clean and bed was comfortable.

They cancelled my reservation after I arrived… said they weren’t allowing any stays over 2 days at a time… had to find different accommodations late at night after a very long drive…not happy

The room smelled of dog when you walked through the door. Air con filter was disgustingly dirty and smelly and couldnt have it running. Couldnt have a bath no plug. No individual soaps it was straight out of a dispenser in the room which were wank.toilet kept blockin up . Picture quality on the tv was terrible. Would not recommend for people with allergies not a very good standard of cleanliness.

Nothing was unique aboit the property. This was my first stay at Ref Roof. It's marketed online as a hotel when it's really a motel.

It was suitable for our last minute needs. I have no idea why there are so many time constraints when it comes to checking in. Most facilities just say check in before 10pm (or before 12 if needed), but if you checked in past 3:00pm it’s a late fee at red roof. we had to move rooms one time and the lady said “you have 30 minutes” like it was a race. Anything under the premium room, clean it yourself. We walked into the deluxe and it was only cleaned where you can see. Under the bed was nasty, beside the fridge was gross, and sheets and shower curtains was stained lightly. Everything else was livable. I would only recommend red roof in Hoffman to those who have dogs and don’t want to pay fees and if you’re in dire need to stay somewhere.

Convenient to main roads, gas stations, eateries, etc.

Upon entering the driveway and looking for the check-in area, we were approached and asked to buy drugs by two different people. There were also tons of people loitering around outside smoking and drinking. We felt very unsafe and uneasy immediately. Once in the room, we looked around and it was disgusting. The bedding looked unwashed, the floor looked like it hadnt been swept in years, there were random holes in the walls, the bathroom was rusty, and it smelled like smoke. The place was so bad that we decided to drive 4 hours back home in the rain instead of staying here.
