The room is very big, however, the room is not clean, the pillows are not tidy up, stain is everywhere, the bed is collapsed and I see a hole sink into it. I suspect there is no room cleaning…

The Ascot Suites in Morro Bay offered a delightful base for my exploration of the charming coastal town. The location was fantastic: quiet yet a walkable distance to a variety of restaurants, cafes, and shops. I felt safe and secure throughout my stay, and the staff were friendly and helpful, always ready with recommendations and local insights. However, my overall experience was unfortunately dampened by the cleanliness of my room. Finding long hair on the bedding of the king-size bed, as well as in the bathroom tub, was a major disappointment. This detracted from the otherwise cozy and comfortable atmosphere of the room and raised concerns about hygiene standards.

The property is clean and newly renovated . It is close to pretty much everything. Giving it 5 stars!

When I walked in the lady at the front with dark hair was amazing . No phones in the room to call the front and then the next morning and took a shower and the shower was dirty and someone's hair was on the walls and you could see that the shower wasn't clean . I told the morning front desk guy and he says to me sorry sorry will have someone clean it .. ?!!! Really ? How about hat will take care of you for that happening . No didn't happen

The front desk person was nice. This was no way her fault. I'm not sure how busy it really is but the rooms weren't cleaned by check in. We didn't check in until almost 1 hour and 30 minutes after check in. The cleaners were short staffed and was being rushed to clean leaving behind the previous guest's old food in the fridge. It makes you wonder what else was skipped or missed in the rush?

It was a nice hotel w comforts including a jacuzzi.

Very quiet and clean. We'll be back again.

We enjoyed the fireplace, and the smart tv made it possible to use our Netflix account. The rooms were beautifully decorated as well.

The Ascot is a nice place but beginning to show its age in very slight ways. Good location. The only other thing that I can think of for less than a five star is "breakfast". Some fruit, breads, cereals and a waffle maker pretty much sum it up. If you consider anything that would be in the protein group, eggs, sausage, bacon, as an essential for a true breakfast, you'll be disappointed as I was. There are some fast food places in the area as well as regular restaurants/coffee shops so all is not lost, but breakfast at the Ascot is less than a 5 star rating.

Internet was not working properly. The fireplace was not working, the glass and metal on the fireplace was not right.

The roof view of the the ocean was spectacular,great high end furnishings and a fire place in the room makes a great after noon of relaxation.

A bed that wasn’t rock hard would have gave it two more stars. Everything else was ok but the bed was terrible rock hard memory foam.

We booked this hotel for my birthday weekend and specifically chose it for the fireplace and balcony. Get there, the fireplace just clicks so we call the front desk. WE are told 'oh, some of them don't work'. What? So we asked to be moved to a room with a functioning one. She never called us back. The air conditioning wouldn't turn off all night. We froze. The 'duvet' was actually two sheets put together around an old dingy beige blanket. Gross. Would be nice if they paid attention to their balconies too. All the bird poop on the railings was lovely. When my husband took a shower, he wanted to adjust the rain shower head, it just fell to the wayside. Balconies face each other in the middle so it was awkward to be outside with strangers staring at you. We let hotels.com know of our horrible experience and this hotel REFUSED to refund or at least do something to make it right. STAY AWAY!

There were many things that needed improvement. Parking was limited. There were a 2 USB charging ports in the room and one of them was broken, the bathroom faucet was lose. (Not properly tightened to the sink) one side of the towel rack over the toilet fell off the wall when touched, the beds did not have bed spreads, there was supposed to be a continental breakfast from 7 to 10 and at 7:15 the room still had chairs on tables and no sign of breakfast. In total all doable no real problems but lots of opportunity to easily improve. It did seam that the property was in the process of improving/renovating so I would expect it to be belter in the future and I would stay again if visiting the area in the future.

The aesthetic of this property is so beautiful! I plan on booking here again!

It was loud and the walls very thin.. you could hear EVERYTHING, if you know what I mean! Dogs were also barking in the room upstairs.. very bad language yelled in the hallway.. would choose somewhere to stay next time
