My first stay with EAS and I must admit it was better than I expected, which is why I gave them an excellent rating.

I didn't like smokers right outside the lobby but it was last minute and I wasn't picky since I didn't have my kids.

The room was dirty. There was hair dye on the walls in bathroom. Towels were rough and looked dirty. Major stains in carpet. No menus in the room. Front desk staff did not care at all.

It’s a basic hotel, no frills. Decent for an overnight stay when you need safety and clean space to stay. It has a kitchen, but recommend having your own dishes/cooking utensils. In a good area to get to stores & gas stations. No amenities

Just stayed for a night this week. AC noise was too much to bear; none of us could sleep. door had huge gaps that all night corridor noises were heard. Will avoid this place next trip.

In my travels extended stays were better managed, due to people staying longer there was less overhead of cleaning rooms. Unless a property gets many undesired extended stay tenants. This property has smokers, its not controlled, there are cages on smoke detectors to keep people from disarming them. Pet policy seems nice, but I walked by a room that smelled like dirty dog. The rooms was a little worn out, bath sink did not drain, ac/heater was noisy, so we kept it off. Wifi did not work. I think this place is destined to be sold and redone, something is not up to standards here. Friendly staff, but there are problems.

Smelled like weed. The room wasn’t clean when we got there. We were told we could get kitchen supplies up front but they were all out which we were told is normal. The surrounding was run down and gross. We left after one night and went to a new hotel because it was not up to any good standards

The smell of pot they were having to spray to mask the smell in brother in law that was with me on business strip is a police officer and when we pull in the front of this location he told me that this hotel looks like the one they do drig raid on just a fyi people standing in front of loony entrance it is a very small door entrance and there is no lobby, coffee was terrible and it was right by the exit and entrance door

It was ok. I just needed a couple nights to myself. The door to my room was not in the frame properly and was difficult to lock. There was a big space where you could see the light shining in from the hallway. I had a room right next to the lobby, so people in the hallway were a little annoying at times. Also, the people above me were really loud...I'm assuming it was children running and jumping around. No one came to clean my woom while i was there, either. I didn't make much mess, so i wasn't extremely bothered by it, but it seems housekeeping should have come. The carpet had some really bad stains, as did the chair at the desk in the room.

The hotel was in ok condition the lifts were dirty and trash in common areas in the floor . The room alloted was ok the floor was sticky and the bed lenjn had hair all over including the towels inbthe room.

Cockroaches in the room. Small babies everywhere and a few bigger ones in the room. TV stand was broken and pointed to the floor. The kitchen sink was clogged. The bath soap was crumbled into pieces like a cracker. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. People smoking right outside lobby door in a NO SMOKING area. You had to go around them. There was even someone leaning right on the pillar that had the no smoking sign puffing on her cigarette. They had a good size refrigerator and microwave. There was a kitchenette with sink and stove.

Only had one overnight and only got to the room to go to sleep and thewn gone again early in the morning, but would definitely stay here again.

Overall, the stay was great. Staff was very friendly and the room was tidy. Three minor complaints: The shower head leaked, the microwave release button would stick constantly and we couldn't find a way to make the turntable inside work, and the recliner wouldn't work. Aside that, we had everything we needed for our stay and would absolutely stay again.

Let’s start with the perks: convenient, affordable, dog friendly, full sized fridge and kitchen
The cons: the room was filthy. The smell of animal urine and general bo smacked you in the face as soon as we walked in the door. We opened the windows immediately (another perk!) to air out the room as we had no febreeze in our bags. Later we discovered rotting garbage from previous guests under the sink.
I wish I could attach pictures bc we found piles of hair, dust, random ass clothes and pills under each bed.
The only saving grace for this place is the stellar employees. Please do yourself a favor and book elsewhere.

There was trash from the previous guest behind the night table. There were no hangers to hang clothes (we were in town for a wedding so ended up laying clothes across ironing board so they would not wrinkle) asked several times for a bath mat and told they were out.

This was not my first stay at Extended Stay Monroeville, but this will be my last. It was a decent hotel in 2017 when I stayed last time, but lack of maintenance has made this hotel into a nightmare that I cannot take my child again to.

Large pot holes at foot of driveway. Outlet in room was extremely loose. Room was dirty. Door didn’t close completely and could easily be opened

Very clean hotel including the rooms. When I arrived, I was told that my reserved room was overbooked, and we had to settle for a single room with a cot instead of a double room with two beds. I tried but could not sleep on the cot, so I and my son left at 2 AM the next morning and had to drive through fog for hours to get home.

While making reservation, we requested our room to be in the first floor or second floor. When the lady in the reception gave me ground floor room, I told her about my previous request. She said”that is your room.”

I was here for about a week and a half and can honestly say it was the dirtiest hotel I have stayed at in years. I saw the bad reviews before hand and thought I’d give it a try anyway as it was the closest location to my job. Oh boy, wish I had listened. Good luck navigating the giant potholes all over the parking lot. Trash cans thru out the property were constantly overflowing. Hallway carpet was filthy. Every stair well looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in months. The inside of my refrigerator was extremely sticky and there was visible trash along the sides. Worst of all was a prior guests black lacy undies left under the bathroom vanity. You can tell it’s an older property but there’s really no excuse for how dirty everything is, especially when you read the reviews and see it’s been like this for quite awhile. Avoid this place.

the first room i was given was worn down, the tv was barely attached to its stand, the room hasn't been updated since the 70's and looked like it.

Smoking needs to be moved from the front and back doors. Someone was always standing in the area of the doors and we had to walk thru their smoke
