Front desk staff were very nice and helpful. A/C was quiet and worked great. Place was pretty quiet overall. Housekeeping was terrible. Our room didn't start off with enough towels. Only had 2 coffee pods. Had to go get them from front desk. After the first night, housekeeping came in and only emptied the garbage cans. Beds were not touched, shower was not cleaned. No coffee pods were left and again not enough towels. Dirty coffee cups from the day before were not even taken off the counter and thrown away. Didn't even remove used dirty towels from the floor. No vacuuming. Hallways could use vacuuming too. I don't know what they train the staff to do, but apparently it's just to say they got the room done in 2 minutes.

My check in was a bit stressful it was my first time getitng my own hotel. The lady wasnt so helpful in chrcking me in i bleive melisa was her name. She wasnt so friendly a little rude wasnt very helpful for questions. Luckily another recpetionist jasmin realy realy helpful very nice friendly answered all my questions to her best.

Our room was not cleaned or refreshed daily. Had to ask for clean towels and trash dumped. Was told our room would be completely cleaned the following day and it was NOT. The room was comfortable but is in need of remodel, very old especially the bathrooms.

The front desk was super nice and helpful. Rooms were super clean, along with comfy beds. Only complaint was the over zealous maids who could wake the dead with the amount of noise and knocking on the door as they came down the hallway.

The young man who checked us in was very friendly and courteous. The room was clean and comfortable. The air conditioner was relatively quiet which was nice. The hot breakfast was also good.

I visit Turlock 2 - 3 times per year staying 1 - 2 weeks for each trip. The Holiday Inn has become my "Go To" hotel in Turlock! The free breakfast buffet was an unexpected delight and has become a key factor in why I return! The location is great! There are four different restaurants within a two-minute walk and shopping centres just across the road. I must point out that the hotel has extremely friendly, professional and helpful staff! Not once did I walk by the front desk or a member of staff without them looking me in the eye, smiling and saying "Hello"! I would not hesitate to recommend the Holiday Inn in Turlock to anyone – and I will be returning!

Good location for University activities. Exercise room nice but no weights or mat for stretching, one of 3 machines out of order. Breakfast is nice, but this stay it was basically the same each morning, in the past there was variety in hot options. No room service unless requested still, had to ask for TP 2x. Other than these minor issues, we do enjoy our stay there when I visit my son.

No extra toilet paper, towel quality was average, no extra blanket and pillow in room for sofa sleeper, shower water pressure was low, bed comfort was ok, not enough place to sit for a suite, there was plenty of empty space could have used a few lounge chairs for extra seating. Location very close to train tracks you can hear loud trains early in the morning.

Front door was bent down had to slam and pull door closed so it made a lot of noise.Also refrigerator didn’t work,shower head was a joke kept falling down.

I usually stay here during business travel but it’s been almost 3 years since the last visit. It seems the property might have went downhill. Upon arrival the first thing I noticed was the overflowing garbage can by the front entrance. No biggie I thought, maybe they were just busy. The front desk staff were super friendly and great. I booked the king suite, which is their largest room. I have to say, it is a big room and that was delightful. The problem is that it needs some work. The carpets were dirty, and the stone in the bathroom shower looks quite worn or could have even some mold building up in there. For dinner, we walked across the street to Red Robin. There are several restaurants around the hotel within walking distance, so that is super convenient. When we got back to the hotel after dinner, the elevator was broken. Sleeping was near impossible. There are train tracks nearby and you hear the train, and it’s loud. The worst part was all the street racing right outside of our window. Cars were peeling out and racing up and down the street. They kept revving their engines and this went on for a couple hours until I called down to the front desk and then contacted the police department. The breakfast was fine although their pancake maker did not work and they only had two buffet style hot dishes instead of the three that they customarily have. They only had eggs and sausage instead of also hashbrowns or bacon.
