I waited 2 1/2 hours to check in because the key cards couldn't be made. Finally had to cancel and go to another hotel. The next morning I had a message on my phone from 10:50 p.m. saying the key cards still wouldn't work, but security could escort to rooms, but you couldn't leave unless you had somebody to let you back in. The hotel said that I would get a full refund, but since it was through Expedia I'm not sure. Expedia has NO WAY on their website to contact customer service in any way. Terrible experience all around. The front desk staff at the hotel were all very kind and apologetic.

The smoke was terrible! Hair and dirt in all the corners of the bathroom and blood on the carpet. Elevators were rickety and filthy. Most likely not staying there again.

Overall property and hotel had a stale smoky smell. Room had a smell of sewer gas coming from the bathroom! Sink drain was very slow. Microwave on 4th floor was gross! Clean it! Very few options for dining. And menu at sports bar was very slim, not many options. Check in was smooth and staff pleasant! Jeanne was nice!

Upon arrival, checkin was slow. The clerk that had started helping us kept jumping over to the next station trying to help them as well because there was a guest there that was not satisfied. Additionally, it was not explained that the elevator would not work without tapping our room key over a sensor. There is a heavy smell of smoke on the main level, but we did not notice it in the actual guestroom.

Room was amazing. Staff was very helpful and kind.

Jacuzzi tub room with broken tub. I had two very nice maintenance men in my room for an hour and 45 minutes while the cold water faucet was stuck on sounding like a very loud and uncomfortable water fall. It was miserable and then bed had springs popping and very uncomfortable.

Excellent check in process, great atmosphere but miss the gift shop.

Had a whirlpool room but everytime you would use the bathroom sink or flush the toilet the whirlpool would gurgle

Very nice motel. Room was clean but could use a few more outlets. Casino could have let me win a little also....

Always pleased with this hotel. Good easy check-in, clean and comfortable room. Furniture starting to look a bit worn in the room but not bad. Wished they had their bakery back, had good breakfast food in there.

Upon check in, we were told our room wasn’t ready and they would call us in 10 minutes after it was properly inspected. We waited around a half hour before going back to the desk and they said it was ready and gave us our key. The room was wonderful. Clean, stocked, and comfy. We had a king suite with a jacuzzi in the room and everything was up to par. Our only issue with the room was that our tv would keep randomly shutting off while we were watching movies. We enjoyed the pool and spa, then ate supper at the Buffet. Service was good, food was mostly good. A few things just tasted.. off. While we were there, Bella’s (the breakfast restaurant) was under renovation, so they were serving breakfast from The Buffet. We went to get in line behind a couple and over heard their conversation with the host saying that there were at least three parties waiting ahead of them and they had no idea if anyone else would even get in for breakfast. No wait time estimate, just “maybe you should go somewhere else.” We ended up checking out early and getting breakfast at a restaurant outside of the hotel itself.

When we tried to check in they didn't have the room we booked available.i reserved a whirlpool king suite Riverview room, they offered a 2 queen bed room, we didn't stay. It's our wedding anniversary, we absolutely didn't want to stay in room with a smaller bed then we sleep in at home!

Drunk guys without room keys hanging around elevator looking for me to let them on the elevator with me is scary and unsafe. Security guards are not visible in hotel

Room that we booked was not available. We were there on our honeymoon so booking the room with the hot tub was intentional and something that my wife and I were looking for.

Property was on the river and had a nice swimming pool, but water didn’t look clean. It was not many restaurants to choose, only One sports bar open and food was very greasy and hamburger was flavor and super dry.

Room was great but the casino leaves much to be desired. Very small, limited gaming and seemed servers only paid attention to locals who are regulars.

We love stopping here, great bar and food. Casino tables were pretty high, so we played the slots.

This hotel was affordable, convenient, and had a restaurant and casino steps away. So fun! And it also helped that I won enough on the riverboat casino to pay for my room and then some!

Very Dated property. Rust in the bath tub.

Unfortunately, I have very little positive to say about this stay. The casino boat was damp and musky and smelled like a dive bar from the 1980s with carpet. The Ameristar used to be such a beautiful place. It's sad wha this has turned into.
