The location was walkable to Bunratty Castle and local restaurants. The hotel had a comfortable dining room and bar area as well as a comfortable library/den that you could have some privacy from the lobby that included a tv for local coverage of the Irish Open at the time.

We needed a place close to the Shannon airport and we were not expecting such elegance! The staff was wonderful, the rooms were elegant and very comfortable and the restaurant serves incredible food. It’s also walking distance from town centre and many other opportunities to shop and dine. We were lucky to find it.
Like many places in Europe, there aren’t enough plugs and I couldn’t use the coffee maker because my sister was sleeping and I didn’t want to disturb her by having to move it into the middle of the sleeping area. But that’s not the fault of the end that’s the builders lol.

Large room with nice water pressure in the shower. Nice location to see The Bunratty Castle. We went to 2 nice pubs close by, and had a short drive to the Shannon Airport.
We had to take our heavy luggage up a long flight of stairs.
