Renaissance Suite with Garden in Santo Spirito
Casa Gori is on the ground floor of a 15th century building, only five minute away from Ponte Vecchio and 15 minute walk from the S.M.N. train station. This beautiful suite is perfect for those who want to experience the Florence local scene.
This suite is furnished with original antique furniture spanning from the 1500’s-1700’s for the guests to use as well as art from the same time period on the walls.
The suite has a private access to the garden which is exclusive to the house and shared only with my mom and another 2 room for rental. Every museum or monument is a 20-minute walk away.
Santo Spirito, the neighborhood where Casa Gori is located, is the only neighborhood in the historic center still inhabited by Florentines, where you can breathe the Florentine atmosphere: local markets, small artisan shops, and restaurants serving traditional food.

Owner could improve shower by installing a shower curtain. The shower was on the small side and was very difficult to use without getting water all over the floor. Also, exhaust fan was intermittent.Otherwise good.

Romantic, large room with (excellent) coffee machine, tea, dining table, bathroom . . .and access to an outdoor courtyard and laundry! This is across the river from most of the bigger tourist attractions, more of a neighborhood, with markets and restaurants galore.
