Coffee machine did not work. Took two treis to get it replaced. First day they did not clean the room and I had to ask for some clean towels.

This is a hidden gem. It is clean, appeared recently renovated, and the staff is extremely helpful and pleasant. It is a bit out of the way and lacks the conveniences of Center City Philadelphia. However, it is a tolerable 30-minute taxi or Uber away from the city center. There is a nice restaurant and bar with an ok breakfast. It's helpful to know that there are limited (no) dining options between 11am or so and until 4pm when the dining room opens.

The hotel is very clean and nice. But the people working there were not overly hospitable. From the person who checked us in, to the bar/restaurant employees, who clearly were annoyed we were still there at 9pm (they close at 10pm). Food was decent but the service was slow and subpar.

We reported on 1st day that thermostat was broken, and staff promised to fix it. However, this was not done. Temperature in room fluctuated between very cold and very hot.

The hotel was spotless, the room was great, food and drink on premises was also well wonderful. Best part is the staff. They were super friendly and helpful. Not a single complaint.

When I tried to reserve a room online, the site was having issues. So I called the front desk who gave me a much higher price. When I mentioned the lower price, they told me I couldn't have it. Period.
I quickly hung up, went back to the website where I was able to get the lower price.

It's a lovely hotel in a lovely neighborhood. You need a car to go anywhere. There is no shopping or restaurants in walking distance.

Really enjoyed my stay. My room was spotless and comfortable - everything looked new. The staff was friendly and efficient - they helped me resolve a billing issue (my fault - I used the wrong credit card to make the reservation and had to switch) and were clear and professional at every step. Safe neighborhood (important for a woman traveling alone). Plenty of parking, but also just a block from a trolley stop so easy access to downtown Philadelphia or the western suburbs with or without a car. Would stay again.

The accommodations in the mobility accessible suite was very comfortable, roomy and pleasant. I continue to find that what is missing in a mobility accessible room is a raised toilet of at least 16”-17”

Everything about the hotel was top notch. Notably clean. Spacious, well-appointed rooms and dining area, with tasty and satisfying breakfast. Bathrooms include full-size soap/shampoo/lotion dispensers that are neater, easier-to-use, and greener than multiple little soaps and disposable bottles. Only negative - the check-in clerk, while competent and efficient, was not friendly or welcoming.

Friendly staff. Mark White, the main desk receptionist, checked us. Considering that we arrived Thanksgiving afternoon, Mr. White was so positive and supportive. He immediately made us feel welcomed.
