Location was nice and close to the lake. Breakfast was really good. Staff was really nice. Clean and big room. Bathroom was a bit "old fashioned" but clean and usable. Free parking was really convenient.
The restaurant seems to be awesome, unfortunately we didn't pick the good dates and it was closed. We will have to come back :-) Otherwise, we suspect the room can be a bit noisy depending on other guest or if there's a lot of traffic, but we didn't had such issue during our stay.

Flexible staff; when we were late for breakfast the first day, they still offered to make us a sandwich.
I missed a water cooker in the room, but they provided hot water when asked.

Very friendly and helpful staff, a real pleasure.
Good selction of food (plus the gourmet restaurant which I did not try).
Rooms and bathrooms are basic (but OK).

The hotel restaurant is very good and I would recommend staying there just to have dinner. There is a good choice of interesting dishes and the staff are very friendly. Well worth a visit.

Very friendly staff, a warm welcome! The owners gave us a lot of useful local information.
Great location - only a short distance from Sarnersee and Sachseln railway station. All shops and amenities are nearby.
Plenty of convenient free parking outside the hotel.
Comfortable, quiet room.
Very nice breakfast.
Sadly we didn't get a chance to try the restaurant, which has excellent reviews - but is closed on Sunday and Monday evenings!
