the location is good to be close to the ski areas and it’s nice to have onsen in the hotel.

the room is quite small for 4 people and the hotel is quite old.

A bit inconvenient to walk with luggage from the bus terminal on slipperly road covered with snow.

The hot spring baths were great and our room was very big. We also had an ensuite bathroom and toilet. Breakfast wasn't included in our package but they provided coffee and bread, which was super convenient. The hotel also had lots of board games for guests to enjoy.

The staff was very nice, friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and nice onsen

Very good complimentary bread and coffee, good private onsen with open air sulfur onsen too, confortable room with in-room shower and toilet (Japanese style room). 5 min walk from gondola 4, restaurants and ski rental stores. You can also borrow snow boots at the front desk for free.

Rustic feel of the establishment, helpful staff, indoor and outdoor onsens and one available to rent for private use, free shuttle service to Zao Onsen Bus Terminal, quiet rooms with classic Japanese furnishing, futons and tatami mats.

Facilities were a bit old (but charming), room toilet did not have a bidet, indoor and outdoor onsens are a bit old.
