The rooms were big and comfortable with the tatami mats. The young man at the front desk was super helpful, professional and his recommendations were great. You get one free Onsen ticket per night which is really nice because the stay itself doesn’t have one but with so many Onsen nearby that isn’t really an issue. It’s really central in Zaoonsen itself.
The shower was a bit confusing to use even though that wasn’t that much of a problem because the Onsen you get free tickets to have washrooms.
