Sinharaja Forest Edge

Location on the edge of the rainforest was amazing with the wildlife and birds coming in to beautiful gardens and ponds to visit. Staff organise all rainforest excursions with amazing guides- especially our guide Sagara who could find anything in the forest.

A little more control of noisy large groups. Consider establishing lower pathway below rooms as a walkway to increase privacy for guests.

We had a wonderful and memorable stay at Sinharaja Forest Edge. We were fortunate to get a beautiful room with both a garden view and a pool view, which made our stay even more relaxing and enjoyable. One of the highlights was the opportunity to explore the Sinharaja Rainforest with a knowledgeable guide arranged by the hotel. It was a fantastic experience and made our visit to the rainforest much more enjoyable and informative. The hotel also has a clean and well-maintained restaurant, with good food and a pleasant atmosphere. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. Another major advantage is the hotel's location. It is very close to the Pitadeniya Entrance of the Sinharaja Rainforest, making it an ideal place to stay for anyone planning to explore the rainforest. Overall, we had a fantastic experience at .... The hotel is literally on the edge of the Sinharaja Rainforest, so you wake up to bird sounds and monkeys in the trees. The staff Super friendly and helpful.

We stayed at Sinharaja Forest Edge Hotel for 2 nights and it was exactly what we needed - quiet, green, and close to nature.
