Beautiful characterful place to stay right in the heart of Ventnor though it feels like a lovely quiet oasis. Everything was spotless on arrival and we had everything we needed. We had a warm welcome from the lady getting it ready for us too and ready contact with the owner to welcome us

What an amazing house! Old, very old, and very interesting on the inside. Way bigger then to be expected from the outside. Amazing location.
If this was my house I’d renovate the bathroom and kitchen, I’d do some thorough cleaning, plastering and painting and I’d fix all the doors (none is fitting). But that would be for permanent living because that is how unique this cottage is. For a short stay it is just amazing with all of it’s quirks and features.

stairs not good condition and not suitable for children as extremely steep also not very clean behind sofas and in sofas they also need updating as seats droop

Location perfect very close to all Ventnor has to offer ideal for families plenty of room for everyone with good facilities like a washing machine which is handy if you’ve got kids.
One of the bed sofas wasn’t very comfortable but not enough to worry about it

I loved how homely and comfortable the cottage was. Very close to the beach and local amenities. It is perfect for families and great that dogs are welcome. We will definitely come back.

The location was superb, minutes from the beach , pubs , restaurants, supermarkets and all amenities in the town. It was also very quiet when we were there. The cottage is quaint , charming , warm and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking equipment and very welcoming. We would defiantly book again. It was the perfect end -of- lockdown get away. We enjoyed every minute and would love to own the place ourselves!

The location was fantastic. We arrived at night and had a wonderful start to the day when we saw how we were walking distance to everything.... the town, the beach, the incredible coastal walk. The cottage was homely, very comfortable and very well equipment. The owners instructions for our arrival were spot on.
All the timeless features of a quaint cottage meant it had squeaky staircase floorboards but these were expected so not a disappointment. The cottage met all our needs and excelled expectations.
