The Mahata

Rooms were a good size and well air conditioned with a good size twin room for our two teenagers. Pool was great for cooling down and relaxing around and staff were super friendly and helpful. Smaller size hotel meant that it did not feel busy and crowded and staff knew your name. Food at restaurant was great and included breakfast very generous.

The Mahata is a fabulous hotel. The staff were excellent, friendly and only too happy to assist in anyway possible. They knew myself and my friends by our first names. Always happy to stop and chat. Breakfast was cooked to order and it was always cooked perfectly. There was a really good selection on offer. The rooms were spotlessly clean. Fresh water supplied daily and a choice of tea or coffee. There was a fridge which was a great bonus. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. I loved that it was a small, friendly hotel.

It was in quite a busy area, but earplugs were supplied.

Showers were slow and showers drains needed cleaning out, kept flooding the bathroom floor

Liked the location, and staff in general were friendly.

Ground floor room had lots of ants and bugs, was quite surprised. Room didn't get cleaned when asked at reception, had to ask again.
