Bert was the kindest gentleman and host during our stay, extremely friendly and informative, and went out of his way to help us out; for example when we went to the pub, he was generous enough to come pick us up!

This little gem suited us perfectly. In a house with a long history, the most pleasant and convivial host has made it homely and comfortable. The cooked breakfasts were a splendid start to the day.
Leaving. The exit needs a bit of care.
